List of Good Transportation Agencies - Drivers

Hello to all Board Members

 

It appears that everyone has their favorite Transportation-Driver - It would be nice if we could put together a list of these people and agencies who provide good transportation at a reasonable rate.

 

I know that their have been people who have written about their experiences - but what I am interested in is a list with contact info. so far in reading the posts their appears to be abouot 2-3 mention - Is their anymore to add to the list.

If you frequent the Morning Night on Soi 4 (Nana) in Bangkok, ask Helen, one of the mamasans, to get her brother to drive you to Pattaya. He'll turn up on time with his (not rented) Toyota and wait if you want.

 

I kept the poor sod waiting 6 hours once but I explained to him, bought him some food and paid him for his time. Can't remember his name but all the girls know Helen.

 

If they ask how you know, just say the guys who stays in the JW Marriott and uses him gave you a recommendation.

Do any of you guys have any email addresses to reliable transport from airport to pattaya? i don't mean the usual ones like Thai Limo etc they are way too expensive. tia

I used Khrongfa this past February and have a scheduled pickup this coming Tuesday. Ting Tong posted that he had a problem with them, but so far I've been very satisfied. Cost is 1000 baht + airport parking and tolls. If you want their contact info its posted within BigDUSA "Reliable Car and Driver" topic.

 

If you really want to save some baht and its not late at night, take a taxi (100 baht) to the MoChit bus terminal and take the express bus to Pattaya (95 baht), then jump on a baht bus (60 baht) to your hotel.

I always use Prabhirarb Transport company, they have an office on third road in Pattaya. I just phone before i leave home and there's always someone there waiting for me when i arrive. I just phoned today and they quoted me B16OO which includes all tolls. I'm not sure but i think this place is the Pattaya office used by Thai limo.

Follow Up on Transportation

 

1. Alex never returned my e-mail and I have heard that he has increased his prices.

 

2. Khrongfa - Made contact and confirm with them for pick up - Guess What - "NO SHOW and when I e-mailed them about the no show - there was no response back from them.

 

Looks Like I will have to find a new Driver/Transportation
