Cheap hotel to live in permanently

Guys,

 

My busineSs partner and I are looking to perhaps move from the hotel we currently live in. Currently paying Bt10k per month per room all inclusive. Daily linen change, cleaning , air con, water, electric, everything.

 

We would need somewhere near the gates to Walking Street at around the same rate (or less !!!). I haven't done any legwork myself on this one but will next week when I get back but if any of you guys know of anywhere, please let me know.

I realize this is not close to Walking Street but it's close by baht bus. Soi 1 there is apartment house on the right side of the road coming from 2nd Rd close to Mark land. Studio goes for 6K++. Good building and great Thai management (oxymoron) but in this case true.

Cheers for that BigD. Unfortunately, I really want / need to be near Walking Street. Travelling back and forth to Soi 1 would be just a little too painful. Good price though.

What you say is true but I was able to turn him on to a property that he knew nothing about. Granted it didn't meet his requirment's but he aware of this and so are others that may be looking for a cheap clean place to stay.

Was'nt meant as a flame Roland, hope you did'nt think it was. Asking the guys on here might turn up some good options and actually save the guy some leg work, don't see no problem with that.

One guy with two eyes can walk around looking for an apartment or he can ask on a board with almost 5050 members with 10700 eyes if they know where any cheap, good apartments are located.

I was thinking about another place. I stayed at the Yensabai Condo on soi 17 about 10 minute walk to Walking Street. www.pattayarentaroom.com I stayed in a studio very nice, clean TV, A/C etc. Long term rates are available.

 

So would you buy something on the reccomendation of someone who is not even in the country or prefer your own judgement.
