Fuel is a $1.50 a litre and soon to jump to $2.00 a litre according to yesterdays paper. Cigs $15.00 a pack of 40. Went to buy a carton of the old mans favorite alcohol yesterday and it has doubled $40 to $80 since March some new tax that has come in for buying in bulk. With these 3 things alone we would better of traveling around Asia for the next couple of years.

Todays search for flights for 2 people at Xmas Brisbane to Bangkok Thai Airways $3203 Total (Back via Syd) Singapore $3233 Total (via Singapore both ways which allows a smoke and break) Webjet with Thai $3284 and Singapore $3359 20th of Jan Payed $2626 for April trip wished I pay for Xmas trip then. Hope to get a special before I have to book but being Xmas I don't know maybe on the return leg.
