I have taken this personally? Go back and revisit the first comment you made to me on this thread. Then take a look above at what you have said about me. Who is taking this personally? You have - from the start. I have simply explained my position. I have nothing against you personally. I do not know you. My point all along has been from the side of a concerned and responsible parent. You may disagree and are welcome to do so. It does not bother me. Consistently, the person calling another names, belittling posts, etc. has been you. I will bow out. Have a great day over

your point is well taken but I do not know you either. I am sure you are an excellent chap but that does not mean I would entrust my children to someone based on your recommendation. Bar girl or not, that is not the point either. The fact I mentioned three other bar owners is because they are well known and despite the fact the may not have children, they may have contacts. I don't want this to become a pissing contest aimed at Ken. My point was originally a general one that was taken personally. As a parent I encourage other parents to err on the side of caution. Frankly,

Ken, Many of us know these people both as bar owners and posters on various boards. None of them are anonymous. For someone who is supposedly part of that scene, I am surprised you are not aware of who they are. Like I said, for all I know you could be the greatest guy in LOS or you could be Harris Black. MM's and Hammer's pictures appear frequently on this board and on their bar's websites. Larry's appears on Secret's site. You make lot's of claims, admiral, but anybody can make claims. I wish no offense but as a parent I would not take your word for anything that regards
-
My point was, these are people who we know, who we can put a face to. Ken has told us he is this and that but has refused to be public about who he is. Therefore all claims by him. He may be all he says he is and a great guy but to this point it is all on his say so. It is nothing against him personally, although he takes it as such. It is about being a responsible parent. Hammer, mm and Larry are known entities. They may or not be the right choices to ask this question but they are standup people who almost all of us know. There are others in Pattaya as well. I just can't add Ken to that

God I'm old! Doris Day

This was part of my point which got lost in Ken's anger. The Admiral says he is this and that but won't tell us who he is. I suggest asking MM or Hammer or Larry at Secrets or any number of other well known expats.

Best played game was game seven but most fun to watch for a fan was game 6. Lord Stanley's Cup needs further liberation. Go Bruins! Or is that libation!

I did not google Exxon but here is an ABC news report on GE: http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/general-electric-paid-federal-taxes-2010/story?id=13224558 The bottom line: over 14 billion in profit and zero taxes paid and their CEO is Obama's jobs czar. Republican, Democrat, two sides of the same corrupt coin.

You obviously did not read mine as you mis-stated and you are wound way too tight for a civil discussion. Have a beer and relax!

Thanks, bratpack, I can be a curmudgeon from time to time but my interest here was truly on the sake of the children. I did not intend to offend. My curtness probably seemed like an attack. It was simply meant to punctuate a point. I have nothing against the Admiral. It just seemed like a prudent question for a parent to ask.

Gabor, thanks for that tidbit of the realities that existed behind the Iron Curtain. We only have to look to the former Yugoslavia to understand the differences in nationalism, religion and ethnicity that were held in check by totalitarianism. Compared to Europe we colonials have no history. I wonder what the Chinese would say to all of that - or even the Egyptians. Thanks again!

How sad! This reinforces what I have been saying. Pattaya is not the easiest place to find someone you can trust to babysit your child. Hey! Where's the OP? Hmmm
