  2. I am out day and night when there and never a problem in Pattaya but you raise an interesting point. There are night feeding and day feeding types of mosquitos. The kind that carry Dengue Fever are day feeders I believe. Are the Pattaya type mosquitos day feeders? Malarial types are night feeders, if memory serves.
  3. I don't cover up. The worst I got was chafing from too much teeth.
  4. Sorry, Mook, Calista Flockhart is up as Bigstuy agrees
  5. I remember boney marony Calista Flockhart from Ally McBeal was in this. She married Harrison Ford I believe.

  8. No, don't make him play in Candlestick Park where pulling the ball into the teeth of the wind robbed a player of his power. Mays altered his stroke at the plate to a right centerfield, opposite filed approach. I was there for number 600 - right center. By 3 PM in the afternoon and into the night the wind howls at Candlestick Point in the summer. To right field. 30 to 40 mph virtually every day. If Mays played in the parks Aaron played in, even with the two years in the military, he would have had more homeruns than Aaron. He was a true 5 tool player too (hit for average, hit for power, run the bases and steal bases i.e. speed, catch the ball and throw the ball). I have seen individual players who could do one of those 5 things better but I have never seen in over 50 years anyone who could approach him in all of them. BTW, Mays will also tell you that he made much greater catches than the one in the 1954 World Series. He will also tell you that what made the play good was the throw back to the infield to hold runners from advancing.

  12. I am a Sharks fan but I agree with Johnny about them. I also agree with him about Pittsburg. They may be the ultimate team in the ultimate team sport. I think Vancouver is the team to beat. They should break up the Sedin twins. The Sharks will take one off their hands!
  13. directed by and acted in: Spike Lee
  14. I think he is capable. He is playing with great patience and maturity.
  15. The nerves never come into play until the back nine on Sunday at Augusta. This has always been so and always will be.

  17. Rory still up there at -10 (-3 today) But...Tiger makes a second round run like he has done before when he wins at Augusta and finishes -7 Phil at -2
  18. Avoiding the obvious for: Eugene Levy
  19. Interestingly, Tiger in his best years was rarely a fast starter. His 71 today was not unlike many first or even second day scores in other majors, especially first day. Tiger is not known as a come from behind guy (unlike Jack beating Seve at Augusta in 1986 (I believe it was). So, Tiger needs a good Friday and Saturday to have a chance. He wins most majors by being on top and staying on top. Is he back? Are his personal, emotional and physical problems behind him? I still think Mickelson is playing well coming into this and did well enough today to be considered a front runner. He knows how to win Sunday on the back nine at Augusta. He has the credentials. Rory has the talent but Sunday is about nerves too. It should be fun to watch.
  20. Steve Martin now that was an argument
  21. Tiger is so far off his game that he will have need a miracle to win. He is continually fixing fixing fixing instead of playing on the tour and competing. He was even talking today about how at 35 he is like the veteran guys who were around (an woefully overmatched) when he was a young player by today's younger players. Paralysis by analysis. Phil Mickelson is my pick but I agree with the op's pick of Rory M as a contender with a real shot but not Lee W.
  22. I can't resist mentioning his wife Jill Ireland
  23. Shelly Winters
  24. btw, it was not an argument. I simply looked it up because I was confused by what I thought I knew and had to reconcile it with what was said. He was correct. It was a movie. It was just not a theatrical release originally. It was made for TV and the producers found another way to make some money. It was intended to be educational. What's with the 'tude?
