Well in Aug or Sep will have to go back to the UK ,for new o img visa and visit my children back in the UK. so just started to see if any bargins out there at moment, I use this web site,I have used this web site for last two years to find flights http://www.kayak.co.uk/ as it looks at all airlines and find cheapest flights for you, But WHY is it different price to fly from Bangkok to UK ,than UK to Bangkok Same airline,same airports,same dates,but not same price To fly from Bangkok to UK cheapest found was £720 To fly from UK to Bangkok cheapest found about £530 Have any xpats found what I am saying is true As I have never had to fly this return route before am I missing a trick Is it cheaper findind a flight using a Thai travel agent here in Thailand for a return flight back to the UK

I stopped there for week at xmas ,great rooms,but bed was to hard for my liking. I paid 900 bahts and was well worth it. I do not like stopping in hotels ,I never use swimming pools Rooms here are far better than many hotels where you pay far more. Have 6 rooms all different based on different themes I stopped in Hollywood room

I did not know Thailand could get this cold in winter These are the temp forcast for next 2 days in Khon Kaen I did not even bring any wooly jumpers with me from the UK Look at thur night forcast 9 C Well at least I will be able to cuudle up in bed with my Thai lady It seems so strange only last month I had to put the air on to cool bedroom down before going to bed ,now its a quick shower and straight under 2 duva covers HA HA I dont know how I could face the temp now on a winters night in the UK and being alone in a cold bed The only difference is in UK you have heating in house to keep warm and in Thailand we only have lady to keep us warm. Well im not complaining Does any body know what the coldest its been in Isaan Today 24 °C 10 °C cold Thur 23 °C 9 °C cold Fri 25 °C 10 °C cold

Pete you will have to write off this xmas dinner as not a good day . Think again before doing this again. You know what falangs think about xmas dinner ,should be one of the best dinners in the year. Yours did not even hit the grade as average sunday lunch The night was not spolit as I had good friends and company in a wonderful location , You just have to put the other things right to make xmas night a special wonderful night next year for everybody including your staff and yourself. Sure your staff missed some big tips this night . Yes thank you for the two bottles of wine it did help to blur some of the memories. Saying this I do hope you succeed in 2009 as I have enjoyed talking to you in the past.

Today looked at the special deals on Air Asia , Yes true no costs for flights or fuel air tax ,only pay admin surcharges . So as I have to do a visa run 18th Feb from Khon Kaen,I have decided due to low prices of flights and never been ,I will go to Phom Penn for a weeks holiday and look whats on offer over there. My flight total cost was the following I will catch bus from Khon Kaen to Undon Thani ,about 120 bhts Single Flight from undon to BKK was 176 bhts yes this is correct 176 bhts Return Flight from BBK to Phom Penn was 1250 bhts As no flight connections at the right time when i return to BKK ,i will catch bus back to Khon Kaen about 200 bhts So all in a cheap trip for a visa run and new holiday experiance It does have perks living in thailand at times So any body want to join me for a holday and show me around as i will be a newbi here PM me I fly out from BBK to Phpm Penn Wed 18th Feb 15:10 Return Flight from Phom Penn to BBK Tue 24th Feb 16:55 Please note these special are for 3 days and finish this Friday

As I am on a O none immingration 12 month visa i need to do a visa run every ninety days. As this was the first time i had done this before I thought I would post to help others, I must admit this being the first time for me and my TG we found very confusing. As I live in Khon Kaen the best place for me to do a visa run was Lao,as this is only about 3 hours from Khon Kaen. I did prepare a little as I obtained my Lao visa at the Lao consulate in Khon Kaen,this cost me 1400 bhts with a waite for visa for 15 minutes ,I could have paid 1200bhts but visa would not be ready until 24 hours later. Took train from Khon Kaen to Nong Kai at the cost of 35bhts single ticket for me and my lady ticket was free aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa,dual costing system for falangs again Trip takes about 3 hours ,but be prepaid that trains might be running 1 hour late at times It costs 50 bhts from Nong Kai train station to the friendship bridge ,this being the border crossing. As my lady does not have a passport only a ID card I found out that she needed some paper work at the Thai border . This was obtained at a cost of 130 bhts and a 20 minute waite . This was new to me as i always thought a thai could pass into Lao for a 1 day pass only by showing her id card Then after passing through thia immingration we needed to buy tickets for the bus to take us over the friendship bridge to the Lao border ,5 minute trip and cost of 20bhts each. What is strange coming back accross bridge cost is only 15bhts each ,must be shorter route When passing into Lao was hit with anther large cost for entry costs ,75bhts 25 bhts for my thai lady and 50bhts for me ,aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa that dual costing system again. Did reclaim some of my costs back by buying Benson Hedges cigs ,400 for 1000bhts would have cost me 1700 bhts in thai land. Also 2 bottles of nice wine and 2 bottles of vodka. Take note this is the allowance is for 2 people and not one person ,if caught wth more than allowed you pay high tax duty and would then become a very expensive visa crossing. This was my experiance of my very first visa run ,I have learned a lot from this and next time I should know what to expect ,but who knows rules are always changing In summary ,was not to bad and if fact had a wonderful time with my lady as we made a holiday of this by spending 2 nights in Nong Kai and stopping in Undon Thani for 2 nights I am amazed at the low cost of the train travel,if you do not mind the trains running late at times ,try it. Its not 1st class travel but 3rd Class travel ,it does have air as long as you seat at a seat and the windows open

I can never understand why customers want to watch sport, maybe im missing the point ,I like to watch the ladies when i go to a go go One thing for sure if all the punters start watching the sport ,you may need to look at your ladies dance performance rather than the match performance. Dont get me wrong I love sport also,but will go to a sports bar for this,as I do not want the ladies putting me off watching a good game

Bar is in one of the top location in Khon Kaen city ,its very near the 2 top hotels,these being Kosa and Sofitel Accomadation,large bar area also has 3 floors Renewable lease No Key Money Tel 0870383949 Was talking to bar owner last night due to some domestic issues he wants out so told me he would now accept 600000 bhts Sounds like a good buy now ,but how do i know im no bar owner also I dont want to be, as im happy just being retired living in Khon Kaen I do know there is not to many Falang Bars in Khon Kaen ,I think only this one and 4 others So compare to Pattaya not to much competion fighting for customers.

Well if thats the case ,looks like no more afternoon bar crawls to soi 6 Will be some pleased establisments,like Massage places Dark Side Jade House ,ect,ect Also if you like the soi 6 girls ,take telephone number ,meet her in your hotel room before she start work Maybe Pete could go touting and get some of these ladies to attend his freelance bar before they start work Sure also more ladies now on beach road in the day Look and you will find
