Apart from Pattaya, where would you choose to live ...
BBB replied to CheshireTom's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I love the countryside so where i live Sai Yok, Kanchanaburi District ticks all the boxes, beautiful, peace and quiet, if we feel like a night out 45 minutes drive into Kanchanaburi, border with Myanmar has now opened though i have not tried it yet. Only down side is hospitals, hope i never have a serious medical problem. Can't think of anywhere else i'd rather live. -
Has anyone got a Table Football table for sale or know where i can buy one
-
The most important. I love to see the aussies crying into there beer.

Working at the minute but looking to live there in about 3yrs and thinking of ways to fill my time, falconry sounds like a great idea.
-
Great post. Fantastic looking bird. Do you have an address for the falconry club in Bangkok, or have i missed it.
-
Dr Mick do you have a policy covering your family as well
-
Well it must be just me, i flew on it in January and did not find it anymore comfortable than the standard flight, the entertainment was the same ICE system and we boarded on time but were stood for 1hr while they tried to sort the seating out. I would not go out of my way to fly it again.
-
If you get it outside the UK it probably will not cover you for repatriation if you have a serious problem. I always use Direct Travel Insurance, minimum is £127 but depends on what level of cover you think you'll need
-
Thats what i was thinking
-
Never seen anyone get a slap with with the utmost civility Have not flown Thai for many years because of the price, prefer China, Eva or Emirates but coming over for Songkran and will fly with them as £567 LHR is a good price, maybe they are getting more competative.
-
The idea can change quite a bit over the years, when i spent all my time in Pattaya it would cost 10,000bt a day now i'm just as happy living on 500bt a day.

We gave my wifes mother 5000 a month until she found the mother had given 1 of the wifes brothers some money (he's an alcoholic) now she gets nothing and the rest of the family have never asked for anything.

Yes you can get free solar energy we have 1 and the sister in law has 1 on our land in the jungle where there is no electricity supply but you only get 1 panel which is just enough for a light bulb.
