  1. Two questions.Are your courts concrete ?Are there any non concrete courts in Pattaya.I have a bad knee and concrete courts are too hard for me.
  2. During the day- Golf 4 days a week.Swimming everyday.Play cards with Thai girls 30-40 hours per week.Jetskiing- once a week. Tennis- once a week. During the night-Bar hop at GoGos 5 nights a week.Bowling 1 night per week.Stay home watch tv-one night.Play cards-as above

Wise words Owen .In the Oct-Dec quarter last year the US economy still had positive growth .Even if the March quarter shows a decline and potentially the start of a recession it is still at the moment at least very minor compared to other recessions.Many current investors and commentators remind me of spoilt children who want everything their own way all the time. Stock markets go up and down ,economies go into recessions-if you can't accept that then don't invest in the market ever.As a great Australian said Life was not meant to be easy.

  5. I own several properties in Thailand and Australia.None of the insurance companies have ever asked how much time I spend in any of them.They just quote me a rate which is the same regardless of how much time I spend in it.Is insurance in other countries different to this?
  6. No it is definitely not thriving. VT6 in Pattaya is leading to an oversupply of units.you can buy units in VT6 for the same price that they were off the plan a year ago. Two thirds of the units in VT3 Building B are still unsold .VT7 has legal problems.VT5 prices are soft. Prices for units in VT1 and VT2 are lower than 6 months ago. I know of one unit in VT3 which sold for 50000B per sqm 2 years ago and then resold for 57000Bpersqm 1 year ago and just recently was resold at 46000Bpersqm. VT will not dump the unsold units on the market nor will they lower their prices.So you will not see an
  7. In a Muay Thai fight the scoring system is biased towards kicking.If punches scored the same as kicks then you would see very few kicks being used.Punching is a much better fighting technique.

I live in VT3 and I love it there.It is very quiet with no street noise as it is absolute beachfront .Big swimming pool good restaurant and convenience/laundry store.Transportation is a little tricky.From the front of Building A it would be a 200 meter walk to the moto taxis. Moto taxis are 40 Baht into central Pattaya. The public baht bus route would be 500 meters further.So if you are ok with the moto taxis transportation is fine. I think that this may be correct.I spend 2 weeks in Pattaya and then 2 weeks Australia and I just use the 30 day tourist visa.So each time I enter at Suvanabarmi the Immigration Officer usually spends 5 minutes trying to add up my days to check that I am under the 90/180 rule.However when I last entered 3 weeks ago this did not happen.Also the 90/180 day explanation/warnings notes which had been posted at the immigration desks have been removed.

  15. sinbinjack all condos that I have ever owned in Australia and Thailand have worked the same .I own the condo and combined with the other unit owners we own the land there is no lease.If the building collapses and is no more then we can sell the land and divide up the proceeds. In Australia a strata title is the most common title associated with town houses and home units and is evidence of ownership of a unit, which is called a ‘lot’.
