Thanks, guys. So I think I can do this in 1 trip to BKK (income letter) and 2 trips to Udon Immigration (submit and retrieve). Should be good to go. -

I have read this entire post, but because of my dyslexia (LOL) I will ask some questions again. My situation: Plan to move to Thailand from the US for retirement in Oct. Over 50 but no bank account in Thailand. Plan to open bank account if possible with VOA or Tourist visa with my first address (most likely a monthly rental apt/condo). Would like to get a Non O visa asap, and then when funds have been in bank for the required 3 months apply for Non O "retirement" visa. Questions: 1) Which visa should I get for initial arrival/stay AND to establish a bank account....VOA or Touris -
In 2008 bought a vid card off of Ebay (I was desparate and Dell let me down.....long story) and had it sent to Post Office (Nongprue?). Shipping cost was $35 (insured) for a $350 item. Arrived with no problems.

Entrance to rooms from the restaurant/bar. Never stayed there, but have eaten there many times with my TGF and the food was always very good and reasonably priced.

Pattaya Beer Garden - lookin' or chillin'
bug27 replied to PattayaPete's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Rejection is part of life in Pattaya. Just make fun of it and allot of times the girl will change attitude. There are also cases where the girl has gone with the guy and she no longer wants his attention for whatever reason. I know allot of the service girls there and some have told me "Oh, here he comes again". They are clued in to the cheap charlies and "questionable" farangs that visit frequently. I think the mats are a great idea. -

Dell Computer Warranty Repair Shop in Pattaya
bug27 replied to bug27's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Come to find out I am 17 days out of warranty (that sucks). Anyone recommend a computer repair shop around Pattaya?? -
I assume you mean Insomnia Gentlemens Club as the go go. From my experience if you're an old fart, forget it.....girls are keen on younger clientele. I'm 58 and felt like part of the wall paint when I went there on 2 occasions.

Yeah, when Clinton won the West Virginia primary (67%) recently one of the statistics mentioned was of the white voters 60% had not finished high school.

Stayed there in '05 and '06. At the time mostly German clientele but with the Ruskie invasion it wouldn't surprise me if they are there now. Nice place with beautiful swimming pools on the mid/high side price wise. They have rooms with "swim-outs" to the pool from your balcony. Pretty cool. Back then no joiner fee for up to 2 girls. 3 or more not allowed (what can I say, needed a 4th for poker). Stephane, from Germany, is the manager. Really nice guy, helped me find long term accomodations when I moved here.

Stayed there in 2005 and back then unless you ugrade or have a deluxe suite a joiner fee was charged. I think it was 800 Bt but not sure of the amount.
