martin , i spoke with craig last night , he still thinks thursday nights is the best option , because a lot of the bars around my place do free food on a friday. i do not want to conflict with your bar crawl night , but it does look a better option. i know you said some of the flb boys want to come for the curry , so ive managed to persuade craig to have a go on a friday again this week . if we can make a success of it on a friday , then we will continue it ,if not going back to thursdays when it was succesful is our only other option as both craig and myself have commitments almost every other night. so i ll post this weeks curry a little later and i hope to see both yourself and a few other flb forum members munching on our curries.

unfortunately we get only the france and italy games over here and even then ive got to watch them on the french or italian channels. the espn and s worldsport channels are only interested in england. but if per chance they decide to show one of the scotland matches , we will advertise some sort of promotion .

im still open to suggestion martin , but craig seems to think friday is a bad option. i ll have further talks with craig ,id love to see some of the flb boys come to our curry nights so the thursday is not a must. watch this space.

a daily sheet change would cost you 50 b per change. accusations , accusations , accusations , and not one word of truth. your not a customer at the rockhouse, your not a former customer of the rockhouse , yet you pontificate as if you know the place inside out. you know nothing. but it doesnt stop you typing as if you did. get a life , actually come to pattaya occassionally instead of typing about it. in my experience , ive found most people prefer watching tv in bed , hence the reason for the rooms lay out. however it wont be the first time we have moved the furniture to accommodate a customers preference and im sure not the last.

hi gentleman , as some of you may know , board member bigleg , better known as craig is the chef behind the curry nights at both nois bar and the rockhouse. craig basically cooks the curries from scratch at his home and delivers them to the bar on time to serve on the curry nights. he does this from his own pocket and in his own time , some of these curries take 2 or 3 days to create. so the reason we ask people to put down there names if attending the curry nights is to see if there is a demand and to avoid craig losing money as he pays for the curry himself and it is not a business expense of the rockhouse or nois bar, and we dont want to see craig lose money on the deal as he did last friday when 14 people put there name down , but only 5 turned up , leaving craig considerably out of pocket. ok , so we changed the curry night from thursday to friday and i myself was in the philipines , so that might have had an impact on who turned up , but at the end of the day ,it didnt do craigs pocket any good. so this week , i have cancelled the curry night and from next week it will be returning to a thursday night , were it appears it is better supported. its a great curry and its a great social occassion , so it would be sad if we had to stop the curry nights , but chef needs to break even , so if your going to come for a curry put your name down and if not please dont add your name.

sorry ive taken so long to reply to jack jones and his usual slandering of both the rockhouse and myself. i did ask mm to remove any posts by jack jones from the business threads but that request has been ignored. i ll reply for now , but will probably have the whole thread removed at a later date. ok first of all as i already replied , yes customers need to enter the accommodation via the bar , and collect their key from reception. why would that be a problem ? secondly , let me assuse anyone , no matter what jack jones says , that the rockhouse does in deed have allocated parking for motorbikeswith space for up to around 12 or so bikes. thirdly , in as far as bedding goes , our jack tries very hard but fails miserably to put people off by stating the rockhouse only change bedding one time per week. when the facts of the matter are , that the rockhouse changes the bed clothes as often as any customer requires , even provides a full change of bedding in the room at all times.we do however only change the bedding once a week at our cost , all other changes are to be paid for by the customer. i think , given the value for money of the accommodation , paying a small fee for changing the bedding on your request will not be an issue. if it is an issue , then perhaps the rockhouse should not be your prefered place to stay. no big drama either way. ok jack.

hi there , despite me spelling it out several times , on various threads , people still dont seem to get the policy with regard to bedding change at the rockhouse. so i ll try one more time. the bedding at the rockhouse is changed at our cost 1 time per week. there is constantly a full change of bedding in your room , that you can change any time you like. alternatively , you can request our house cleaning staff to change the bedding as often as you wish at your cost. now from where im sitting , anyone who does as you say , and has a lady lying in last nights conquests juices, does so by choice , as the facilities to have clean bedding at all times are provided for you. nobody needs tell people how often to change their socks , or pants or shirts , so nobody should need tell you when you need to change your bedding. you should know yourself.

whilst i strongly dislike both yourself and replying to anything you may have to say, i suppose i better answer your question in order to satisfy anybody reading the thread , as i certainly couldnt care less about you. so here it is , i am the owner ,i dont change sheets ,i also dont pay laundry bills , i have people to do things like that for me. the rules of the house are we will change your sheets weekly , which i am positive is more frequently than most people do at home. incidentally one of your favourite places that you keep referring to , the mosiak apartments , charge extra just for a cleaner any day of the week , bedding changes , electricity , and wifi internet service. yet you see fit to attempt to condemn me or my place for having the audacity to charge for extra laundry expenses. yet laud approval on the afore mentioned. there is however always a complete set of bedding in the room at any time , and so the person renting the accommodation can change the sheets any time they want , or can ask the housekeeper to do so as many times as they like , but they will be charged for this. the exact figure i do not know , but it will be very small money , perhaps 40 b or 50 b , whatever the laundry charges to wash the bedding. anyway having answered your question ,i ll finish by making a statement to all who read this post. jack jones ,is an obnoxious person , who constantly follows myself around various forums , bad mouthing myself and the rockhouse. he is in fact practically a stalker , and as you can imagine ,i dont like the person at all.. he has never been a customer at the rockhouse and i have never spoken to him in my life, so figure out why he stalks me for yourselfs , i cant. he seems to believe that i should not be allowed to advertise my business on any forum , when in fact doing so , is well within the rules. he has nothing better to do with his time is my only assumption. thank you.

clearly your reading ability or your comprehending ability are not functioning at a very high level. the sheets can be as stated , changed as often as the customer requires. there is also a complete bed change in each and every room at all times. anybody, even wishing to change the bed clothes themselves at 4 30 am has the facilities to do it. we are accommodation for rent , as previously stated , we are not ,and do not , pretend to be a hotel. if you want to change your sheets as often as you wish , then feel free to go to the local laundry yourself ,or ask our daily housekeeper to do so for you. was that simple enough for you? do you understand now ? mulphy , always willing to help those with educational abnormalities.

the rockhouse is open 24 hours a day , so there is no need for aseperate entrance . there is ample space for parking motorbikes right outside the building.

im neither insecure , nor pushy , i just expect that people with an interest in an event , will register an interest on a thread as i would myself , if i read of an event i was thinking of attending. maybe its not the done thing on the flb forum , but it is what i would do , as i said ,if i was attending an evening or event. no big problem if nobody replies , every person is free to do as they see fit.

i dont see why ? as stated i can change them 100 times a day if you like at your cost . if you want them changed simply ask. or use the spare bedding in the room yourself. i have many customers drink in my place who stay in the areca lodge which is just round the corner from us. they are all saying the first girl is free , but if more than one then you are charged more money. however they are all saying , they feel the areca is attempting to foster a family hotel image nowadays and they feel the security staff and reception staff are not very respectful of your thai guests.
