installed and working. yes 60 m2 , having spent considerable time in several view talay studio condos ,i can assure you they are far bigger . these rooms are about the size of a double unit condo in view talay. perhaps its difficult to tell from a photograph as opposed to being in the room . in fact the en-suite bathroom of these apartments are about 15 m2 , which is around half the size of a studio condo itself.

glynbuk, the accommodation is situated over 3 floors , so depending on which room you are allocated , you have to climb either one , two , or three flights of stairs. the wifi has already been installed and is in working order.

midlifecrisis, i guess it all depends on your lifestyle while on vacation and what facilities you would require. both sandy springs and the areca lodge are hotels andas such offer you all the facilities you would expect of a hotel , such as a dining room , swimming pool etc etc etc. we at the rockhouse simply offer large size apartments for rent. i would be prepared to stick my neck out and say the rooms themselves at the rockhouse are bigger , nicer and far cheaper than the other 2 options , but of course we cant offer you normal hotel facilities. what we do offer you is nice accommodation , good customer service in a relaxing setting ,in a good location, at value for money. but as i said in the beginning , its all about your own expectations.

We also cater for all sports fans , with 4 tv,s in the bar including a giant screen and 2 seperate ubc systems and 2 seperate cable systems , to ensure we capture all of the action as it happens . this week it ill be thursday 6th of september for the curry night. we will be serving beef rogan josh , rice , popodom , naan bread and a beer for only 200 b. from the following week we will be doing the curry nights on a friday , at the request of the flb bar , who may wish to partake in our curry nights but as it clashes with their long standing thursday night bar crawl, they are currently unable to. so in the best spirit of co operation , i have changed to fridays.

thank you guys , it was a full house as you all saw and the curry was a sell out. the curry itself was majestic as usual from the chef and it was nice to see many familiar faces and also some new ones. we will be continuing this every week, for the forseeable future and would invite opinions on which curry we should eat next week, my suggestion would be beef rogan josh , but im open to your other suggestions. would anybody planning on coming along next thursday please add your name to this thread to make it esy for chef to know how many hewill be cooking for. a big thanks to chef for another splendid result and dont forget you can sample his excellent food every tuesday at nois bar in soi khao noi.

george , the food at nois as well as the rockhouse , is prepared by chef at his home. it is simply served at nois as it will be at the rockhouse, with absolutely no difference . any facilities chef has asked for have been supplied. so relax and enjoy your curry, from 7pm until chef decides hes had enough. no problems. Yes, after Kolobos and Chef mentioned to me that perhaps a venue in town itself , might allow more of you to enjoy Chef,s delicious Indian cooking , i readily agreed that The Rockhouse would be happy to co host these evenings each and every Thursday night. It has become a very popular Tuesday night culinary experience every week at Noi,s bar over in Soi Khao Noi , in The Darkside. As a regular attendee at Noi,s bars curry nights , i can tell you that your in for a treat . Great tasting Indian food and a beer , all for only 200 Baht. Great value. So , i hope some of you will join us and help to make Chef,s curry nights at The Rockhouse , every bit as popular as they are at Noi,s bar.
