  1. Maybe, they watch BBC World News and have seen that London bus fares have gone from 70p (60bht) to 120p (90bht) in less than a year, soon to be 140p. Our Mayor, will certainly get London back on it's feet. As you say Alan " I'm not a tourist, you know "
  2. Right, next time, I wear a bloody mask. I won't be able to show my face in FLB. Good job my dick is covered. ( COVERED IN WHAT I'M NOT SURE ).
  3. Is this the Sawadee Hotel, next to the Sports Bar, owned by the Leeds United fan ? I think his name is Gary.
  4. Have been to LOS 15 times in 4 years. In that time I met several Ferangs who live there, have bars etc. My simple conclusion is, home is where you earn your money, Los is where you spend it. Trying to reverse that situation is bloody hard. Thailand is a poor Country, why do you think the large majority of their women, dream of marrying a Ferang ? But do try before you buy.
  5. Yep, you need a foreigner with a bottomless amount of cash to stay in the English top football hierachy. The English Premier, is becoming as interesting as the Scotish. A choice of 2 or 3 clubs winning the championship every year. Come on the Hammers! Brentford got turned over and I had to stand in the rain and freezing wind to witness it, but hey, that's lower division football. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. Brentford need a million by September to survive. It's a git isn't it ? Works out about a grand for everyone who turned up monday for the game against Wednesday. O.K Mr Glazier, where are you ?
  6. Got to hand it to you. If you can drink till 2, get back to room at 3, shower, shave shampoo and shag till 5. Then get up and ride a bike around in the heat, you'r a better man than I am. Probally younger too, but if you want to live to my age, have a good think about cycling in PTTY.
  7. A police spokesman said " We don't know what's in them, but they taste like bannana" " We are waiting for further developments "
  8. Not another Ferang suicide ?
  9. Thanks again cybers Have found out you must insure in countryyou are driving in. My travel insurance covers me for any personal injury while driving. Si's insurance is 3rd party only. Might send her money to cover me, with her company, for the time. Cheers NNH
  10. Thanks cybers, I was thinking about getting a Thai license, my mate who has one, told me you have to have a non immigrant O visa or something. He has one, because his wife is Thai. Do you have to sit an exam ? Si's insurance cost 10,000 bht I think. At least they drive on the correct side of the road. I should be able to match their style of driving
  11. Will be in LOS for 2-3 weeks and it would be handy if I could get insured to drive the GF's old p-up truck. I have an I.D.P, but do I take my U.K license too ? The truck is insured for Si to drive, don't think that covers me. What do you blokes do about driving in LOS ? Is there anywhere in PTTY that you know of, where it could be done ? Thnks NNH
  12. Now, the Chinese would dismantle Old Trafford and ship it out. They could get it on the same boat as the Rover plant.
  13. Men and women, women and men. It'll never work !
  14. Just sit at any bar on 2nd road and watch them go by, any night. No need to book.
  15. They've got NEW sewers ???
  16. Oh noooo!!!!. Does this mean they are going to dismantle Old Trafford and rebuild it in the Arizona desert, next to London bridge ? Oh, that's O.K then.
  17. Yes, I get your point, you could do all your shopping that way. Jump off, get a T shirt get back on, look for a lighter at the next stall. Of course this saveS you looking at the piles of rubble and holes in the ground- I like it.
  18. O.K Tom, tell us. How much is a leather Kilt for a night ?
  19. Tell you what mate, the way some Farangs ride around Pattaya, you would think it WAS a race crcuit.
  20. You want to whip around a circuit on an R1, wearing T shirt and shorts ? Hmmmm
  21. That was extra for the trousers, more material for the inside leg.
  22. It's worth doing, just for the longer look.
  23. O.K 13 days to go. So it's a haircut, to get rid of my "Kneck-pubes". remove as many grey eyebrows as I can without leaving a bald bit. Walk the dog for a bit longer, up and down the hill at Term 4 slip road. ( B.A.A have made the area into a park ) Try to get a bit of sun on my legs, so they don't look like 2 uncooked chips. Now for the pooffey bit. Yes, I will buy some mens moisteriser from Boots ! There, I said it. I feel like I've come out of the cosmetic wardrobe. Well, the old face does get a bit dry in LOS and I get this dry skin between my eyebrows- A constant embarrasment. I suppose I should make the effort all the time really, that was the point of this post- I think.
  24. Travelling You would get on great with my Son. He comes up with things like- If you don't make your bed, you get less bed bugs, because they don't like light, so having the covers pulled back deters them. Or, did you know that letting a dog lick your plate will leave less baccteria, than washing it in the sink ? Ray I don't colour my hair, grey hair is better than no hair, for me. Thing is, when you get to my age, just a gentle regular exersize, can make a difference to your mobility. being a bit fitter is a real tonic at 58.
