Welcome to the board son. So tell us,what does a judge look for in these competitions ?
-
Whoa- a closet train spotter !

You should have said England ! Sexybeast could have met you at Dover and charged you the £2000 fare to his house.
-
Yeh, but after every bar, how would you remenber the good ones ?
-
Good luck son, hope you do well. May see you in November.

My GF has asked me to look him up and ask him why I can't buy house in LOS, like he has in London.

At that age she will be a YP (young person) I think the airline will offer help at departure and arrival, if requested.

Oops ! Well the idea was there. A mate of mine was down from Scotland for that match. A group of them were waiting to cross the road, with their tartarn scarves etc, when a bus full of schoolgirls went by. The lads were pleased when all the girls waved to them. It was later they realised that the girls thought they were Bay City Rollers fans. you're right about the outfit doing the building. As a Londoner I dread the costs of those bloody Olympics. Oh yes, only someone with the name Antonia Bollinger - Kent, would attempt such a trip. It is easier to do, having a few hundred thousand quid on call to get you out of trouble. That's why the working class, never really got the hang of that exploring lark.

Alan, get a copy of the England- Scotland game at Wembly 1967 when you beat us and invaded the pitch. Get the lady to wear an England shirt, do her doggy while looking at the TV. You should have cum just before the goalpost collapses.

I have just started to get a pension from the uk. i have no national insurance number (never had one) and it was no problem. the uk charged tax but australia has a tax agreement with the uk so i will pay australian tax as the marrage was registered in the Uk she should have the right of abode in the UK I am sure there are differing circumstances regarding her and your status as a tax payer. We are talking about a Thai, you are talking about Australia. The pension fund was from a Canadian company, but based in the U.K. There is no tax agreement between Thailand and the U.K as far as I know. I think anyone who gets married to a Brit' now, is issued with a 2 year visa, then after the two years, if still married, they get a settlement one. I don't think the lady wants to live here anyway, so that isn't an issue. I am only stating things as I saw them. I knew the Thai lady acting on her behalf. Because I knew the company contact in UK, we talked about it at length. I don't envy anyone doing what she wants to do. Maybe there is an opening for someone to find out about all this and make a few bob- someone will.

The only bits I know about, because this happened to a workmate 2 years ago. Married in LOS then he returned to UK to get enough money to retire to LOS. He was killed in an accident. He had a company pension, which his wife was entitled to 50% of plus 25% each for up to 2 children under 16. The first problem in paying a pension to her, was that she had no U.K National Insurance, for tax purposes. the pension is taxed, so she must be on the books for any benefits. I believe there was a problem with paying a lump sum, into a Thai bank account from the U.K too. The only Thai bank in U.K was a clearing bank. A word of warning, if you use a local person, who claims to know how to handle this, make sure you know how much of a cut they want before you go ahead. This girl was a simple country girl, and the money on offer was more than she could immagine, so she was willing to pay a lot , to get a lot. I think the woman handling it got about £10,000 commision. The only thing I know is that someone will want their cut. If the man has family here, it can get complicated, if they contest any will he may have made in the wifes favour, expecially after such a short time- Good luck.

I had trouble in February with my Barclays ATM card. It took 2 expensive calls to the UK to find out there was a gang operating in LOS hitting them at ATM's. The banks seem to keep these incidences to themself. I had to give my security details for them to unlock my card. Oh ye,s congrat's on having the longest name on the board.

I understand. If you are a single dad, LOS is the place to go. My seperated wife along with my daughter love the place. Not sure how they would react if I was not with same Thai lady each time though.

G'day Norm, you are in good company. I noticed a larger number of you 'stralian chaps in LOS in the last year or so. Thought it may be the events in Bali, that have put you off going there for your hol's.
-
Blimey, when you said lower bags, I thought............. Can't you just empty them like everyone else ?

Gary You can give Hydro' a try without laying out too much to experiment. Buy a kids swimming pool, big enough to lay a small wooden pallete in, place the plants in a rockwool or pebbles in a pot on the pallete, between the slats, so the roots can get to the water. you only need a small airpump to aggitate the water around the roots. The downside of Hydro, is that water PH and temperature are more critical than soil. Not sure where you would get the nutreints from in LOS. If it works, then you can get some proper gear and start a production line. Se you at your stall by the roadside.

Just looked in my greenhouse. One Tom' plant has died back, lost its green, gone yellow and withered. The other two are still green. Marrows have died back quickly, now they have finished fruiting. I think you are getting an acceleration, of a natural trait of these plants. they are going through their cycle too quickly, hmm..... Basically, they will produce the next generation, but the conditions aren't good enough to give them a good start, rather they die a cot death, till things improve. It has to be the ground and air temprature too high. Get the wife to stare at them now and then, the icy look may do the trick.
-
Gary, did the plants appear to just wither away, or was it a fungal attack ? Are you growing them in pots or the ground ? If you are feeding them a hight K or P fertiliser for the fruit, it may be denying them nitrogen for the leaves. Over fertilising, will kill a plant in a day or two. The symptems are curling leaves, which go brown and die at the ends, this spreads to the whole plant. Over watering will deny the roots oxygen and they will rot in the soil. Letting them dry out 'till leaves droop, will be helpfull. You could try removing every other leaf, to give the roots less work to do. If it's not fungal attack, try a fine mist spray in the evening. You've got me thinking now.

I read somewhere that tomatos and cannabis are almost identicle in their needs. On a day trip out of Chang Mai, I asked the young tour guide, where was all the wild cannabis that I immagined grew up north. She said that we were too low down and they required a cooler changeable climate. So it must be a temperature thing, because Tom's self seed in sewage works after passing through the digestive system, so they are pretty robust characters.
-
Why not buy some Tom's locally and take the seed and grow them ?

It's still bloody hot here in England, A woman in Plymputh had her shoe stick to the Tarmac. Gritter lorries are spreading sand to hold the road together. I have my Thai lady, hot weather and real ale. A trip to the races on a Wednseday night, just sets it off nicely.
