A short trip from Pattaya by car. Dramatic location and really private and peaceful. Lots of amazing views all around the resort, a nice private beach, and a variety of interesting flora and fauna. Great food, and service all around. Not cheap, but worthwhile. An excellent place to break up a long trip to fun city, and perfect to spend time with that special gal. Highly recommended...Peace

A top notch place on a really nice beach. Excellent service and food and great atmoshere. Took their top notch Executive Suite overlooking the ocean, and was not disappointed. Huge suite with all the amenities including a huge tub with a great view. Offers free transport to and from Rayong. Not cheap, but worth the price. Romantic as hell...Peace

Conrad is truly first class, on Wireless rd and gives free bus to and from BTS skytrain. The best service I ever got anywhere...Peace

Just returned to the RG after 3 days in BKK at the Conrad...I will write up a full hotel review later, but for now, I can say it was a great experience. The room was beautiful, the staff courteous and helpful, and the amenities top notch. I would certainly give it my highest recommendation for those travelling with a companion...Peace.

Hi all, just booked for July a freebie on Singapore Air to try out its direct 18.5 hour flight from Newark to Singapore than connecting to BKK...anyone else plan on trying it out? The plane looks great and roomy, with excellent service...lets just hope it will stay in the air that long!!! Any experiences would be great...thanx and peace.

As stated by OJ, I also stay at RG, and leave my digital cam, money and a $2000 watch in the room out in the open all the time...never had a problem. The staff here is excellent! Peace.

Just wanted to say to all, especially those who have never stayed here, to give it a try...after 30 hours of torturous travel, I received the warmest of receptions, along with some nice fruit, extra pillows, and my favorite room. IT got me relaxed so quickly and just made the first night in town such a great experience. Today I am well rested and ready to have some fun. Thanks and Kudos to Ib and staff, you guys rule!!! The fares have stayed consistant and good for the last few years now...get a United Visa card and really look through their site on the milage plus area, for 10000 ways to earn lots of miles. It is no secret that I think RG is the best, for all the reasons listed above... The #1 is the no ID check thing...Listen, I hate the whole nature of anything that makes the encounter feel more like a business transaction, and the ID thing definitely does...I don't know what kind of saps are pulling some thieving old AIDS infested beach rd. troll in to their beds, but I personally do not need someone holding my hand when I bring a chick home for the night...I have NEVER NEVER NEVER had a problem...nor have I caused one... I usually travel United either through their website or through Travelocity, but now the direct NY to BKK via NRT has been replaced with a stopover for 4+hours in San Fran...WTF @##$&! Who want s to add another 6+ total hours to an already 24 hour trip !!! A HOLES !!!
