It didn't take me long to realize that you used it for an excuse for everything was wasn't going right in your life. I told you in the past to seek help from the VA, whether you did or not I don't know. As for Steve unfriending you on FB, that was his choice and the fact that he and I are like brothers we choose to confide a lot of our lives to each other. You have been a topic of conversation for years. I guess you finally broke the camel's back when you tried to get information from him that you already had. Apparently you forgot about some of the conversations you and I had in Secret's back in '08, when we were there at the same time, as you told me so much about how your life sucks. Since I try and surround myself with friends that have a positive outlook on life I decided that I didn't want you as a friend. You kept whining to the point that I just had to stay totally away from you when we were both in Pattaya lest I let your attitude ruin my holiday and no one, especially you will ever do that to me. Now this particular fuckwit is harassing a very good friend of mine through their Facebook connection. He has unfriended him now, but he asked my friend why I didn't like him? That's how stupid he is as I explained it all in my PM's to him on here before I put him on ignore, etc. The guy just doesn't have a clue about the reality of life and doesn't know how to take a hint. Spelled it out to him 5 years ago and he just will not let it go. Oh well, I don't have to read anymore of his idiocy, so he can just do what he wants as long as he leaves me the fuck alone.

The same is true of the Vietnam Vets in America and I am one of them. I understand that many have problems, but the majority of the ones I know don't whine about every little thing that goes against them in their lives. The guy I am talking about uses it as an excuse. Needless to say we have never been more than acquaintances. We could have been friends as we have several things in common, but his attitude and the way he continually blamed his condition for the way his life was just got to me after a while and I had to get away from him. I hadn't seen or heard from him in over 5 years when out of the blue he wants to rekindle a friendship that we never had. I know for a fact (because we have a mutual friend) that he hasn't changed one stinking bit, so I know I would still have a problem with his constant whining. It's just sad that vets don't get the care they need from the governments that send us in harm's way. It could be much better if the politicians gave a flying fuck about anything but themselves. CB

I didn't have a problem changing it, but you need to enforce the rule equally with all the BM's. No sense in having a rule if it isn't going be enforced across the board. CB

Nice thought Jaime, but this is a personal feud. He was an acquaintance that I met through this board and we had some things in common, such as both of us are Vietnam Vets, etc. I met him on my first trip to LOS in 2007 and we had a few drinks. It didn't take me long to understand that he is a world class whiner. He claims to have PTSD, which is entirely possible, however he uses it as an excuse for everything that goes wrong in his life. I finally got tired of listening to him and told him how I felt and that I didn't want to have anything to do with him. Out of the blue I get this message from him wanting to know why I did what I did. He is wanting someone to be his friend and I won't oblige him. I tried to explain to him via PM that I wasn't interested and rehashed why back to him. He just keeps sending me whining PM's and I got tired of it, so now he is blocked, ignored and everything else I was allowed to do to him. He's not worth the hassle and as far as I am concerned he is "Persona Non Grata" CB

I pose this question as I am stymied about how to accomplish this. I have another BM that is sending me PM's that I am tired of receiving. I have tried to figure out how to put him on ignore or to block him from sending me any more messages. How do I do this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. CB

I've used my computers, phones, IPod and several other electronics all over the world and not had a problem with them. Just make sure, like stated before that you are using the right voltage setting. I've got one adapter that works and have never had a problem with plugging one of its variations in a wall socket. CB

Now that I just posted that, I do notice something that is missing. At the bottom of each post there used to be an option to go to the top of the page. It is now missing. That is a very useful option, I hope it can be restored. CB

Must be something wrong on your end as everything you have mentioned is working on mine. BTW, I use Chrome. I had a problem with it about a week ago and had to uninstall it and install it again and all is well, Try that to see if that cures your problems. CB

Gary, as pointed out in Grandpollo's post #3: "Do not use a CPAP without the humidifier as it dries out your sinuses something awful. Then you get the runny nose and the works and it is shitty. The plastic/metal tanks are not a lot of money, and that's all that gets some mineral buildup. The air comes up the tube after the humidifier and the water thus is not getting in the air pump etc." I have to agree with his assessment and in my experience with the A/C in the rooms I have stayed, it does reduce the humidity level when sleeping. I have a bit of a problem with my sinuses becoming dry when using the CPAP anyway, so using the humidifier attachment is my best option. Besides, I may end up living elsewhere in Thailand that isn't near the sea/ocean, so again using the humidifier attachment is my best option. CB

thanks for all the info. Atlas, how big of a bottle are you talking about, 1 liter, 1/2 liter? Grandpollo, I never thought too much about the R/O water purifiers on the street, I'm sure that would work just fine. I would stop using it before I would use Pattaya tap water in it, that would be akin to committing suicide. I agree with your assessment of using the CPAP without the humidifier. I have a bit of a problem with that now and I have it turned up on 5 for the heating element and go through at least 75% of the water in the tank in a 6 to 8 hour sleep. If anyone else has any info, please pass it along to me. I appreciate it very much. CB

I use a CPAP when I sleep and the humidifier section has to have distilled water used in it. So, I am wondering if any of the expats while out shopping in the bigger department stores or farang oreinted stores stock gallon jugs of it. I was talking with Frosty the other night and he didn't recall seeing it and he pointed out the fact that the humidity is usually quite high there because of its proximity to the sea. Well, that in a way is good because the CPAP that I use the humidifier can be removed from the CPAP portion and plugged with a panel. Now I am thinking that if distilled water is not available I will get along ok without the humidifier portion. Any information that could be found out for me would be greatly appreciated.
