My friend Nim who used to be the boss of Thumbs Up has recently bought a bar on Soi Buakhao and she is having her opening party tonight. The bar is called Kimao bar and is located just off Soi Buakhao It is located in the ´Wonderland Zone´ close to the R Con Residence. I know several BMs are going so why not drop by to say hi to Nim and have some free grub while you´re at it? Cheers

I think its a generous offer, but with all this negativity I doubt it will have the desired effect. Freelancers only go where punters go and so far I can't see many punters jump on the offer. Just out of curiosity, why does Kinarree have so many birds in all the time whilst Bryan obviously cant find enough birds to work / stay at his gaff? Other formula maybe?

You could get the same in Holland for 5 Euro. Here's the menu of a place I frequent because they do good Asian fast food http://www.friendshouse.nl/menu.html The prices you see are for dinner servings, the lunch servings are about 50 - 60 % of the price.

Haircuts and massages are about a quarter of the price compared to Holland

Pardon my ignorance but what does the 50/50 transfer mean exactly? 1,5 MIllion baht off the price in 22 days is quite a lot by the way. How come you are so desperate to flog the place?

If you want to stay in Dubai just head to Le Meridien hotel. They have a bar out at the back full of Thais and Filipinas with a live band. Closes at 4 I think. I stayed there last year when I went to SA for the world cup. 8 hours in Dubai airport and you'll be absolutely bored to tears. I checked Emirates a couple days ago and saw that I would have a 9 hour layover. Not for me Ronnie would rather fly Egypt air and have a 3 hour stopover. Cheaper as well.

Heard great reviews of the place. The Jolly Friar is owned by the same guy from my understanding. Will make sure to come round for a feed next trip
