  1. This is one of my favourite places to eat. Very good and extensive menu and never had a bad meal there.
  2. Had them in the Pig and Whistle in March. Kippers and scrambled eggs.
  3. I am looking for 5th March and cheapest Emirates flight is £597 on Skyscanner
  4. Etihad for me Sam, always got decent prices (under £500) and good flight times without long stopovers, good food and entertainment and birds onboard are fit as fuck.
  5. Its just off second road, virtually opposite Mikes.
  6. LK Rennaissance on Soi Dianna has lifts and jacuzzi bath tubs in their studio rooms, we paid £1400 baht per night last year on a walk in price, hoping for the same deal this year. Have stayed there last 3 years and you cant beat the hotel, IMHO
  7. Me and a few mates will be there for 18th oct for a month so will only catch England winning their semi and the final but will be deffo watching it somewhere in Patts
  8. Last 6 visits I have flew with Etihad from Manchester, last year got flights for £450 and went out mid Oct, booked through Netflights. Will be back mid Oct again this year for 4 weeks, Queen Vic is a good place to stay but too crazy on soi 6 for me to stay my whole visit.
  9. You will get the Eastiny Plaza and the Seven for a lot cheaper than 2500, the Plaza is the newer of the 2 and we stayed there 3 nights last year before moving to Soi Diana Inn, not a bad hotel, was clean, decent size bed Wifi and a safe in room, pool is ok also. There is a boutique hotel between 7 and 8 called the Idyll Hotel, think its possibly linked to The Sunbeam, they wanted nearer 3000 for a room, rooms looked really nice but wasnt paying silly money and not sure if it was girl friendly, it if is linked to the Sunbeam there may be a joiners fee.
  10. Also stayed Eastiny Plaza last year, payed 1400 baht per night for 3 night in Oct, we then got a walk in price in the LK Renaissance of also 1400 baht per night, stayed at the LK for a further 25 nights, the LK IMHO is a much nicer hotel, great staff and a excellent location. Will stay there again.
  11. Thanks for the support guys, looking to book for March next year to ease my pain
  12. Well just home after my 6th trip to Pattaya and i am well and truly depressed. Had a fantastic 4 weeks of fun but then again we always do when we are there. Started our stay in the Eastiny Plaza on Soi 8, stayed for 3 nights, hotel was ok, good pool, great location, not much interaction from the staff for the 3 days we stayed there but am sure if we had of stayed longer they might have come across better. After the 3 days at the Eastiny we got a great walk in deal at the LK Rennaisance on Soi Diana Inn, ending up getting the studio rooms for 1400 Baht a night, IMHO you cant beat this hote
  13. Yeah i agree with the above post, i took travellers cheques last year and will again in 2 weeks, only hassle was having to take your passport to cash them but exchange booths are everywhere so easy to get your cash then return your passport to safe in loom.
  14. 1500 Baht per night for a Studio Room, rooms were really nice and had the advantage of having a Jacuzzi bath. Dates we were there were from 15th oct - 09th Nov 09 Have tried emailing them a few times to see if they can do the same rate but no response, i have noticed however that Skyscanner is advertising their rooms for £35 per night, Skyscanner is also advertising the LK Royal Suites for £25 a night so may try there.
