  1. I have always given my CC to Sandy Springs in advance on Soi 13 and have never had a problem. I guess it all depends on the hotel.
  2. The problem I see is that the bed is not king size. Also, saying that the hotel does not have a guest policy does not answer, to my way of thinking, whether guests are allowed into the rooms. I would expect a concrete no joiner fee policy.
  3. I visited this place and found it lacking in many respects.
  4. Tony has the worst reputation in Pattaya. You do business with him at your own risk. Also, an op on another forum was complaining that when he had an issue at Tony's apartment about an employee who stole something, the management told him there was nothing they could do snce the employee had left.
  5. Lack of a safe should be a deal breaker.
  6. I booked the deluxe at Sandy Springs recently wiyh no problems.
  7. If they don't answer e mails, speak English or show rooms then it is not worth fooling around with. This indicates inferior management and service. I have stayed at Sandy Springs on Soi 13 and have never been disappointed.
  8. I usually get a massage from my barfine. It works out OK.
  9. IMHO you are better off booking for one week. If you like it after one week, then book for the remaining six. If you don't like, try somewhere else.
  10. I didn't notice a pool on their website. Also, it appears the beds are not kingsize. These are both dealbreakers for me. What about LK Renaissance? Anyone heard about it?
  11. Well, the cost for Eva has drastically increased to over $1400 roundtrip LAX to BKK. Better off with Thai Air.
