Hi Sam I'm in a position where my old dear lives in Guildford, I realised that the timescale between touchdown at lhr and the last flight was pretty tight, so I booked a flight to abz for the following day, I will be staying at the old dears that night, thereby accumulating those much needed brownie points!! I agree with you about trying to stay with the one airline, and that is pretty much what I was trying to do with KLM & AirFrance, but they were just too pricey on this occasion! cheers mate, hopefully you will be there when I am.

this morning I booked Eva Air for £465 through ebookers for the 21st Febto 9th March, pretty good as the prices quoted in recent weeks have been around the £650 region,money better off in my pocket, despite the fact I've had to book a seperate flight from Aberdeen to Heathrow, the total cost of 465 and 85 still beats anything I can get from Aberdeen, usually I've been going via Amsterdam or Paris with KLM/Air France, but them and Air France are looking for silly money and have been doing so for months now. I'm no cheap charlie, but Kuwait Airlines are really cheap compared to others, it's possible to save around £200 compared to the other more recognised routes to the LOS, and £200 is £200 after all!!! I believe that no alcohol is served on board - but that does not bother me! I've also read a few reviews online about them - most of them pretty unfavourable but most seem to be a few years old and few decent reviews. Any BMs have first hand experience with them? If so your views would be very welcome.

this is the funniest stuff that i have read in months!! you guys get an effing life!! i'm not sure that i want to visit any bar that is associated with you people, what with the way that language is going ie. threats of violence etc! do I really want to go to bar when there may some prick threatening to send in some heavies and upsetting my whole evening ie i have to overlook my shoulder all night! ? I've had many a great time here over the years, including a couple of great nights this year, but as everybody has said, it has gone downhill, shame really as it was one of my favourites.

I agree SAS are charging silly money at this time!! In the past few months I flown both KLM and Air France back in June flew Aberdeen - Amsterdam - Bangkok and of course the return, KLM both ways, can't fault the airline or Amsterdam airport in any way, also lands in BKK just after midday, which is great. I would say though that the 747 was disappointing, with only small overhead tv screens for entertainment, some of which can be a fair bit away, depending on your seat. Overall though I've been very satisfied with KLM Last month I flew same route KLM but returned BKK - Paris CDG - Aberd
