I second that. I have changed the return date for my flight on three different occasions. A stroll down to the Thai office at the end of beach road was all it took. They even confirmed a seat number of my choice... Pleasantly surprised to find Thai does not charge for change in dates. I do not know if the rules have changed in the last 15 months...
