Yes this is true. I read about this on Live a few days ago. Sunny Valentine confirmed on that thread that supplies in Pattaya have been dry for a few months... You may be able to find a few bottles in the 7-11 shelves... I loved my Mekong Coke... It is definitely the best cane rum(though it is called whiskey, it is technically rum) I'ave ever had...

Totally agree with you Sailfast. Rockhouse has always been a great place to spend an evening, especially when Alex was around. The girls are friendly too. The music is really up to you... And Live was a very open board. Its character at any point in time was what the posters wanted it to be. I'm sure it will be back soon. Mulph is sometimes the drama queen...

Mr Pastry should be able to clarify unless it is too sticky... He should also have more time to spend here now that Mulph can not complain about his mods spending insufficient time on Live...

Some deeds just keep ringing in your ears. I think he's a sound guy

This time Mulph has bottled his board...

Music at the Pattaya Beer Garden
sick buffalo replied to PattayaPete's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
IMO the music played at the PBG is just right. Please please don't do anything with it. The volume is a bit low especially if you are there for some music with your grub. I would be happier to see one corner of PBG, as far away as possible from the "water views" playing a higher volume. Now Priya seems to be a female, Indian name. (Could also be the shortened form of a male too...) If she is a youngster, then what you play is not her type of music perhaps. But then she would be unlikely to be your prinipal target audience... You audience as you have stated would mainly be male 35-60 yrs ol -
Have fond memories of the last year's party mate. I should be there in November. I know you will keep the party going till then. Have a good one!

And how did you earn this? Had it anything to do with a personal invitation or the soft/hard opening??? Suddenly the Office is sounding like too much work...

Can't say the same about you MM. You do have a stake in this... So we are playing on your stake...

I am against causing pain and death to an animal for my pleasure. Yes one does kill for food but death can be made less painful and quicker as I believe is done in most of the developed world... I have never been to a bull fight. I never will...

700 is a tad on the higher side... Also maybe a good idea to add a smaller car like the Honda Jazz or the Hyundai i20. More comfortable driving these in a country like Thailand...

Does anyone here use OpenOffice?
sick buffalo replied to bigdelta's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Have used it before. It's a pain if you spent too much time with Office. It's free. so can't complain... -

Good service. Can not be compared with Singapore Airlines but MA is a good airline... The KL airport too is an experience. Many don't like the train ride to collect baggage and I guess you don't have to do it, but to me it's a part of the airport experience...

It is a fee some hotels will charge if you have an additional guest (read girl) staying overnight. While some hotels don't charge for the first guest (threesomes in tis case come at an additional cost) others don't charge you for any number of guests. What you pay is for the room and not the number of guests... You could avoid a joiner fee by reserving a room for two (though you may be travelling alone) Again there are some rare pain-in-the-ass hotels that ask you for the name of the second guest... Better to clarify on their policy before you pay any money to any hotel...
