Stayed there for 4 nights just to experience the LK Metro area... Very friendly staff. Good service... Only problem was the AC. I even walked out and slept at the Green View (??) Soi 15 since my girl couldn't handle the heat at JM I took it up with Nok (the girl at the reception) and I was promptly given an alternate room. The next two nights are amongst the best I have had in Pattaya, thanks to kung from Soi 6... I would go and stay there again with a clear understanding with Kevin that I need a well ACed room... From the many posts that I have read and from my interaction with him, he seems to be a man of his word...

The one that I have had (maybe 10-12 times at different places) always had egg but never ham. Infact here you can order American fried rice with chicken, prawn, pork or even mixed meat and seafood. Chicken is not a must... But then I am talking of another country altogether. There's so much of variety and local falvoring in chinese food these days... The best chinese food I have had was in Desseldorf, Germany! And no, I haven't been to China yet...

American friend rice is any fried rice with tomato sauce (ketchep) in it. There is also an American Chop Suey (vis-a-vis Chinese Chop Suey)! You will get both dishes in many Chinese restaurants in India...

Too much criticism these days on Windmill. It started with so much fanfare and plenty of threads with accolades. Maybe the place is experiencing management fatigue... I will know in the second half of March when I'm there. I still haven't collected my discount card from the Windmill Club...

Till the first week of December we had Nok Air flying Bangalore -Bangkok daily. It has stopped operations. So let us not talk about it... The shortest flight from india to Bangkok is Calcutta(Kolkata)- Bangkok. Flight time 2hrs 30 min approx. Jet airways and Air India fly this sector. Jet is a great airline. Price should be around 9,000 INR(115 GBP) Both Jet and Air India are full service airlines. The second shortest route would be Madras (Chennai) - Bangkok. Thai and Air India fly on this route. Flight tine 3 hrs approx. Air India flies on 3-4 days a week but has a convenient morning flight. Service is fuck all. Price would be around 13,000 INR (165 GBP) by AI. Thai will be about 2000 INR more. Bangalore- Bangkok is the third shortest distance (3hrs 30 min approx) Thai and Air India operate a code shared (Thai airways) flight. Buying a ticket through Air India will be cheaper. Price approx 17,000 INR (215 GBP) If you book a month in advance you can get a ticket at less than 14,000 INR Cheers!

Don't fall for it. Avoid them like the Plague... Once you buy, you will never get a holiday when you need one Holiday includes only stay NO food, pickup\drop very high joiner fee. The AMS as somebody already mewntioned will be more than douyble the cost of a decent hotel Your hotel will be located way off from happening places... What if they close down? TShare in Asia is not regulated as it is in Europe or US... STAY AWAY PLEASE

For any reason, your flight gets delayed, or if you want to wait till 8 AM, there is a bus. Bell bus company, fare till hotel 106B Oh just noticed, you have confirmed to Mr.Toom. No problems. I have used his services 4 times. Very reliable...

I think you should inform Alan. They will not let incidents like this tarnish their image... Have never had a problem in my two times (one week each) in Secrets...

A bar is not just about good looking girls. It is a sum total of girls that have a good attitude, looks too, a friendly atmosphere where you feel comfortable , maybe good music if that is your thing, decently priced drinks and so on... And knowing PSP, the mix can NOT go wrong... Just as dogblower stated, I met Paul at Lennies and followed him into Misty's to meet him and have not been disappointed ever... Yes I have had my great times at Misty's years ago. Even Rodeo girls used to have a fab environment and a very friendly manager at one point in time... Sometimes however, one wrong day, wrong timing, wrong approach towards a particular girl or even a whimsical mood swing can lead to disappointment and this can happen in any place of entertainment. And the damage that a report on one such incident can do to a bar\go-go (especially in a forum read by many new comers to the scene) can undo a lot of hard work put in by the bar management. I only hope therefore that the OP (who obviously speaks about years of experience at Misty's) takes cognisance of all the praise that is being showered on the place and on PSP (not because any of us have any financial interest in the concern, but the valuable, time tested friendship of PSP), gives the place another visit and has a swell time there...

Am staying there during the last week of November. My third stay actually. You can hear the moaning from other rooms. It is a turn on...

My Samsung DVD player had exactly the same problem. i took it to their service centre. Was told that the laser bulb has to be replaced but it would cost me about 80% of the price of a new player. They recommended that I junk it... I however got it serviced at another place but it still does not behave. I am going to kick it out of shape one of these days...

Have spent over 75 nights at Penthouse. Great location, very nice and different kind of rooms. The beds are high and comfortable. Mirrors everywhere in the room. Not very expensive in my opinion given the location of the hotel. Food id decent and the beakfast is a deal at 99B. Never tried the pick-up service... Dudley, the guy there is an affable chap once you get to know him... I don't stay there these days because I do not want to pay upfront using my credit card... Earlier they would confirm reservations without payment...
