  5. Now thats a bargain.I dont normaly go walking st,but if you take the time in trying to help out,i will take the time out, with a few friends to come to,oops excuse the pun.
  6. Cheers for the info lads bigd 7/11 doesnt sell beer lao as you well know.maybe one day you will reply decently.
  7. Have a walk along 3rd road, south and north from Pattaya Klang, but try south first. There should be quite few for this price, dont know what they are like though.
  8. you are asking a lot mate. The only places i can think of is Pattay Tai areas, like soi bongkot, but very much thai and can be a bit dangerus for some. BTW Forget air con free,as this can be at least 2-2,500 baht a month. try soi arunothi, nirun condo complex but 5,000 might still be too cheap.
  9. maybe it doesnt reduce crime but the evil doers cannot commit any other crime. death to the infidels i say
  10. As an expat i dont frequent Walking st much but Pattaya beer gardens sounds good for my missus and son
  11. After trying beer lao for the first time last night on the darkside, does anybody know where to buy it from or at least where there are any bars that sell it.
  12. Anybody wanting to watch the fa cup games can see them at witherspoons on soi bukeau.ask for keith and he will tell you what matches are on.
  13. I have heard quite a ferw bg saying not like farang dam,but money is number one not how attractive you are or how big your ham dam is
  14. the only country in the world that i havent been poisened.5 years eating thai food from carts to cheap side cafe to good restaraunts and never had a problem.maybe cos i like very spicy lol.
  15. boxing roo is a decent bar and cheers bar at the lights south pattaya 3rd road end, turn left onto pattaya tai and first left again.
  16. you are lucky if thats the only scam you had in club oasis,as a mate of mine got hit on the head by a bottle, one got ripped off with the ususal 500/1000 baht scam.its a horrible place with horrible farangs running it and a few horrible birds too.my aim in life is to stop any of my mates going in there.the fuckers wouldnt even allow us the cctv camera when my mate got bottled by a bouncer.yes they do have bouncers hovering. shithole
  17. some bars do discriminate against indians/pakistanis/muslims etc and many are cheap charlies who try to lure a thai girl to the room and all gangbang.however some bars have a policy to save them from sin so if they dont go in a bar they cant smoke, drink or fornicate, which is against most of thems religion.Go to south pattaya it will be much better there.
  18. Remember seeing a documentary years ago when an american football team came to play a rugby league side.they shat themselves when they saw no body armour or crash helmets.when they saw how hard the rugby side were they wernt happy bunnies.
  19. the pics dont look familiar.its just before a fairly large car sales place. As far as the service most are like that here in thailand so i dont pay too much to that.I find the food very good and always of good quality.the lake certainly didnt smell when i was there.
  20. Yes mate, and we normaly go there becaus they give you fish food to throw in and my step son loves it. You up early mate, early night last night
  21. jacko, the turn off to do a u turn is opposite soi khao talo, before tesco lotus traffic lights.then its only a couple of hundred yeards, and you will see a giant screen and its way before big c. looked at the sat nav and yes its that one.the other good one is thru threassit lights going south with tesco to your right, and about 3-400 yards its on your left.much nicer decor and only very slightly more expensive.
  22. Just got back from the restaraunt thats on sukhumvit and on the right before Tesco Lotus. You have to turn back on yourself if you are driving south, thats before the lights at threprasit rd.Any way we had 4 dishes,3 rice,i big bottle heinekin, 1 sprite and 1 water and the bill was 380 baht,a great meal and great service.the place was packed too. highly recommended.
  23. Jacko, i am going there tonight after visiting the market.cant wait i am starving now.
  24. I thought the one at the end of jomtien was a bit bland and not too clean. We go to one on sukhumvit rd,where you can feed the catfish and carp, bloody huge.Drive past Tesco Lotus, which will be on your right and about 3 hundred yards up on the left, next to a garage.awesome food and a good price too. Many thais go there and a few farangs.coming back north, thru the lights by Tesco is another on the left as you drive north, doesntlook thats good from the outside but great food and a giant screenfor footie.Vientienne on pattaya thai is a good one too.
