  1. House search site similar to Pattaya Condo Guide and maybe same owners. http://pattayahouseguide.com/
  2. I used to rent Yamaha Nuovo and moved to a PCX for three years now. Initially it seemed bigger but after a while you get used to it and no problems getting through normal traffic at the lights. Some times when things are really tight (weekends mostly with too many cars) it can be hard for all bikes and not just a PCX. I like the additional comfort of the PCX and would not go back to small bikes especially if riding on Sukhimvit or East Pattaya where you go at higher speeds. Regarding parking, at Central Festival the "big bike" parking area at the entrance is mostly PCS bikes along with
  3. There are many rental condos available and you can find something to suit your location preferences, size and general price range. Transportation options are readily available in the city areas and motorbikes rentals can improve the choice of condos still in convenient areas. You do not see many houses in the city and likewise do not typically see condo rentals in East Pattaya. I looked a bit in the past for house rentals and found they do not seem to be available for short term rentals of a month or even 3-4 months. Again, you probably need a car or truck for transportation if you want to
  4. +1 for Benjamit. Good coffee and pricing. Also has some good pastries. Hard to get to on Soi Bukhaow market days of Tuesday and Friday.
  5. I have tried many in Pattaya and my favorite is New York Pizza on 3rd Road next to the Boxing Roo at then junction with Soi Lengkee. Thin crust is very nice and they use the right amount of sauce and decent cheese. I prefer dining and notice they do a lot of deliveries.
  6. +1 to all who will not return to Mum Aroi in Nakula. I went last year during lunchtime on a weekend with a Thai lady and we received very poor service. They got the order wrong, brought things one by one (not really unusual here) and never brought one item which we had to explain to take it off the bill as we were ready to pay and leave since did not want to wait a lot longer for one last item. Was a great disappointment and I will not make the drive to there again to put up with that level of poor service. View was good but that is about all. However, must say the Mum Aroi on 3rd roa
  7. I also think New York Pizza is one of the best in Pattaya and have eaten there many times. They also deliver.
  8. Laem Chabang, Burapha and St. Andrews/Green Valley all have hotels at the golf course and vary in terms of price and quality. They do offer some price incentives for playing there as well and suggest your friend check the websites for current deals which they may have. Usually in the low season there are goo incentives. Having said this there are a number of golf tour people in Pattaya which are competetively priced and provide the opportunity to play more than one course and have a nicer room at a better price than those at the golf courses. Also, there is generally not much to do at t
  9. I recomend Roger Rest. which is just off 2nd Road close to Pattaya Klang between the bars and Pattaya Memorial Hospital. He does very nice Italian food and his wife does excellent Thai food so it is great for people who want to eat different items. They have a small open area and a small air conditioned area with aboutg 4-5 tables and some music. Nice atmosphere but not fancy like hotels or large restaurants. I eat there a few times each visit and have always been satisfied. Roger is always friendly and it is good to see a hard working man and wife do well. Worth a try for sure. There h
  10. I went to the Pattaya Tai location in early November and there were only a few people in what is a very large restaurant. As it is off the beaten path a bit the people there seemed to be more expats and Thai than tourist. Food was very good and not expensive. They have an extensive menu with regional Thai styles as well as international. I will go back for sure. It is on the south side of the street and set back about 50-100 meters with a large parking area so you need to be looking for it the first time you go.
  11. Pool is large and very nice and has swim up bar and water slide. Rooms average size but bathroom small with strange sliding doors. Pool was one of the plusses of the hotel.
  12. I stayed at LK Rennaissance twice and it is very nice with a number of amenities and prices reasonable. Staff friendly. Good location on Soi Diana. Check their website and some earlier posts for reviews and pictures. Just down the street is LK Metropole which is also nice as are all the LK properties. Have heard good reports about Tim Boutique which is on 2nd Road very near to Soi Diana. A lot depends on where you want to stay and hang out as a lot of good properties. For prices contact hotels directly as well as LateStays.com and HotelClub.com as both have some deals and can be g
  13. Stayed there recently and registered lady so she would not need to leave ID when going in and out. No questions or problems.
