  1. hahahahahaha I got a 2001 Hyundai and a 2000 Dodge truck. The Dodge doesn't even have 40K miles on it. I use the Hyundai for all my commuting purposes. I may need a rowboat or a slowboat to China for longer trips, But seriously speaking Catia seemed to be a really good product some 10-15 years ago. Actually I think it's more of a problem of the operator, than any software issues. Though when we upgraded from AutoCad 5 to 6, the speed of the application seriously slowed the performance of our work PCs.
  2. I hope the Government gives the contract to Airbus and Northrop. Just based upon merit of the $20B Boeing fiasco back in 2003. BTW, I had an interview with Northrop last week, but it wasn't for supporting this program.
  3. What was great when I moved here is that I found I had a Thai restaurant right around the corner from me. It's name was Royal Bangkok Thai Cuisine. It has now closed because the owner couldn't afford the rent no longer. Very Inexpensive and damn good. A place that was near my old job was known as Khor Bua, it has since closed down because they had 2 competing Thai restaurants nearby. It was very inexpensive, just in a bad location near the BNSF railroad tracks. We know those pesky trains tend to cut into lunch hours.. I told the owner he should have opened his restaurant in Ontario where
  4. Well the Virtual border is a Boeing product, and it's fashionably late like the 787. Maybe we can get Big D to change the topic to "Airbus and Boeing products running behind schedule." Will that satisfy you? We can also include if Issan girls need nose jobs...
  5. I my ass off when I read it. Glad I didn't I wasn't drinking my coffee, or it would have came out of my nose. Good one Tom...
  6. I'd better put up a link before Scallie accuses me of making up stories.... Border Fence doesn't work
  7. I know who Jeff Turner is. Before his big jump to CEO of Spirit Aerosystems, he was site director for Boeing Commercial Airplanes of Wichita. As many know Boeing sold that division. And Boeing blaming the wave of consolidation, when they sold off those operations to Spirit and GKN? Shessh they can't even accept responsibility for their own actions of greed.
  8. He should have wrote it like this though. Boeing needs to come clean on what the market already know. It cannot deliver its 787 on time. If its comes close, it is no shame. If customers think they have been toyed with, Boeing reputation will suffer worse than the one Airbus has. This is due to fact of past ethical lapses into government contracts, and overcharging the US taxpayer. It also cannot deliver products and it is not willing to admit that until it is too late for customers to change their plans. Revised by eltib I think he's hanging out more at Secrets BB.
  9. You gotta remember that Stonecipher was at the helm when they launched this Nightmare. The same failed procedures they used on the 717 / MD95 were applied to the 787. Most of the work for that aircraft were outsourced, and it was canceled after 125 orders. Had Condit been a smart CEO, he would have told Stonecipher this when he bought McD. "No were not putting your stupid little logo in front of the Boeing name, as well as not renaming the company to McDonnell / Boeing." (The last statement is truth. Stonecipher wanted to rename Boeing.) "You are part of Boeing now, we do very li
  10. Wow!!! November now? Looks like my prediction of February 2008 is coming closer. What do you expect from a company that laid off over 30000 workers between 2001 - 2003? That was from Boeing Commercial Airplanes only. The defense sector will be hit once Bush gets out of office. I have a simple answer. Get rid of the do nothing Boeing executives who outsourced all the American jobs, the suppliers are now doing.
  11. Probably hired directly from the Motorbike taxi drivers off Soi Lucky Star.
  12. That was because of a crappy DC10 falling apart on the Paris runway. Do you actually think that there will be daily flights to LOS on the 787? Just look at Thai Airways. They cut back A340-500 nonstop service from LAX to BKK from 5 days to 3 days weekly, because they couldn't fill the planes. I still say the airlines will still use the 787 to hub airports, and not point to point. Except maybe on shorter routes. But definitely not on the long haul ones. The 787 will actually have less range capacity than the 777-200LR.
  13. Don Joe's is a decent place to eat if you like Italian. I've ate there many times.
  14. Like I said. Oct 16, 2007 I will get to air my complaints against Boeing, with a government agency. It won't be because of the product they produce, but rather how they follow and enforce their procedures. Call it whatever me whatever you want Scally, but I paid someone with the knowledge and authority, to verify that I had a case. I definitely won't be on the 6 o'clock news though. BTW, I laugh at stupid people like yourself. Don't go away mad, just go away.
  15. That must be a typo, if not a lie.... After all their execs have lied many times before. Ask Boeing how many H1B Visa's they've requested?
  16. Now Now Tom....We have to give them the benefit of the doubt........... But I want to know where BIGD got the figure of 42 waiting to take to the air? Oh that's right, Scally posted an opinion without any reference material once again.
  17. Paul walks into a pharmacy and says to the pharmacist, "Listen, I have three girls coming over tonight, Dumb, dumber and dumbest. I've never had the same three girls atonce, and I need something to keep me horny.. keep me potent." The pharmacist reaches under the counter, unlocks the bottom drawer and takes out a small cardboard box marked with a label "Viagra Extra Strength" and says, "Here, if you eat this, you'll go nuts for twelve hours." Paul says, "Gimme three boxes." The next day Paul walks into the same pharmacy goes up to the pharmacist and pulls down his pants. The pharmacist looks
  18. Like Mike Sears and Darleen Druyun? Both got 6 and 9 months in jail at a federal resort. That was for fixing a $20B tanker contract. Now you have a the winner from the Survivor series on TV who didn't pay taxes on his $1M prize, and he got 4 years in jail in a hard time fed pen. Seems to me there is a double standard on people with the ability to pay. The great news is that Paul McNulty who prosecuted the Boeing fiasco has resigned from the US attorney's office. It had to do with the firings of all them US attorneys.
  19. They already did that when they asked Boeing to buy out McD in 1996. I remember the day Boeing announced to buy out Rockwell. Everybody was happy and jumping up and down, that McD didn't buy us. 6 months later when they announced Boeing was buying McD, there were allot of long solemn faces, we knew the honeymoon was over.
  20. My how time flys. It seemed like yesterday that he announced Raylene was in Pats for 3 or 4 years.
