  1. I prefer Nang Nual over King. Maybe it doesn't have the ambience, but the food is surely better, and cheaper.
  2. Thanx a bunch. With the recent merger of Delta and Northwest, another airline that was flying Airbus will now stricly be Boeing.
  3. What kind are you trying to make? One from a movie, or a screen shot. Shoot me an email and I'll see what I can do. It shouldn't be hard if it's just a screen shot you want.
  4. Maybe Boeing wants to get some of those so called nasty subsidies that Airbus enjoys.
  5. Thanx guys, I only have the YouTube dowloader from DVDsoft (which is free too). The bad thing about it, you can only download from YouTube, and nothing else.
  6. Oh I can afford it now. I don't want to waste 48 hours to fly there and back, since I only get 2 weeks of vacation a year for the next 3 years. Just got in with the county IT dept. Did my drug test yesterday, and do my orientation tomorrow. Glad I visited when I was at Boeing, It afforded me 4 weeks of vacation the last 4 years. But this county job will give me a BIG pension like you BigD. And I won't be like you did.
  7. No problem Whilliam. And Tom, thanx for clearing that up How about a ticket to Doo Dah parade in Pasadena Oh look it must be him, he's got a shuttle hat on. Tinkerbell drum Major
  8. Sounds like an ISP problem.... The simple solution is to compare hops from your laptop to this board. You can use a tool known as TRACERT avaible in the command (DOS) prompt, followede by your IP address. To get your IP address bring up the DOS prompt, and type IPCONFIG /ALL That will give you your DNS and IP info. Then type TRACERT (your IP ADDRESS here) example Microsoft Windows 2000 [Version 5.00.2195] © Copyright 1985-2000 Microsoft Corp. C:\>tracert pattayatalk.com Tracing route to pattayatalk.com [66.220.28.120] over a maximum of 30 hops: 1
  9. Cheap shot at BigD. He can't defend himself when he's busy giving or getting rim jobs in Pattaya. Building his journal for all of us to read here once he returns. Maybe he'll then tell us of the big move to LOS.
  10. Tom, Thanx for posting that I'm glad I held on to the puny 9 shares of stock Boeing gave me last month from Share Value Trust. I'm gonna make sure next time there's a vote I give a "no vote" to recommendations management @ boeing wants a Yes.
  11. Glad to see the IAM is not giving selling out its membership like the UAW887 did
  12. Scally, Now I besides Tom have something to agree with. This never used to happen before Boeing bought out McD. Heck I remember I just back from vacation and found out Boeing gave us a floating holiday in 1996 on the 4th of July. So I used one less day of vacation. I can tell you now that hasn't been the case since 1997.
  13. He could try defragging his hard drive with I/O Bit Smart Defrag, and using a registry cleaner like RegVac. That sped up my performance, because the MS products offered with the OS, are crap.
  14. Heh,,, You forget to mention the 30000+ plus laid off from Boeing between 2001-2003, and the forced departure of Condit, and Stonecipher from Boeing... What's new? What about Wichita Commercial being sold? How about all the plants Boeing has shut down.(Including mine) Your argument is pretty weak.
  15. Sorry I thought you were from Alabama..... Yeah but BOEING was using the 767/777 comparison against the A330/A340 in it's sales pitches. Another mistake Boeing made was making the 767-400 because ONLY 2 airlines wanted it. But that was McD management leadership again.
  16. Did you ever think the criminal behavior exhibited in 2003 is the REAL reason the USAF doesn't want the Boeing product? I'm sure Sen Jeffries would laugh at you Scally (If you wrote him to start a criminal investigation) considering EADS / Northrop will providing many jobs in your state. The answer is just look at the airlines that have replaced 767s with A330s.
  17. Boeing may not bid on $35 billion tanker deal: report Mon Aug 11, 12:24 PM ET http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080811/ts_nm/...r8kdbg8S1hg.3QA Boeing Co is "strongly considering" not bidding on the upcoming competition for a $35 billion U.S. Air Force refueling tanker contract, Aviation Week, the aerospace industry magazine, reported on Monday, without identifying its sources. The No. 2 Pentagon contractor has not commented on the issue publicly, but some of its backers in Congress have argued that the revised terms of the competition, issued by the Pentagon last week, favor Northrop G
  18. The answer to this is very obvious... 1, When it rains it pours. 2, Does a bear shit in the woods? I'm suprised ANA hasn't cancelled any yet. BTW, they will have a hard time comparing tanker statistics to the A330, if they change platforms from a 767 to a 777. They are both different animals. If they do, I'm sure Airbus will win again.
  19. I find it quite amusing too Tom since airlines have replaced their 767 fleets with A330s. Maybe the Air force should ask airlines like EVA why they don't fly 767s anymore. And they were once strictly a Boeing customer.
