Bat why not spend the first 3 day's in BKK then go to PI for 3 weeks and spend the last 6 day's in Pattaya, this will give you the chance to sample all the best delights of S.E. ASIA .

Hi , I flew with them last October/November, LHR/BKK return, 4/5 hour stop in Doha on outbound 2 hour on the return but they did give us a free meal/drinks voucher to use in the terminal but there's no alcohol anywhere. Small airport and not much to do except wander the expensive duty free. They use airbus 330's , seatback tv's (multi choice movies/channels), footrests and the food and service is ok. lot's of big US warplanes parked on site so security may be tight.

Hi Crackpot, I could only go on those dates so had to pay the price as for supplements three trips ago it was only £15 but now they want £50 extra, that's 5 nights in a cheapie hotel so they can keep it.

I have tried E bookers and just about everyone else for a flight in November without any luck as none could match my usual agent for the price and dates that I needed so I finally booked with them again for LHR / BKK for £479 with Thai (sat8th - sat22nd), exactly the same price as my last trip in July, my other 2 mates also tried but could not beat this price for a direct flight and found indirect for almost the same money as direct . H , who did you book with and what dates? I've been trying to get a cheapie direct and the best that I have found for the dates that I want is Thai @ £479 for 08/11/2003 - 22/11/2003 which is exactly the same as I had at the end of june.

Crackpot, I and my mates went in July for £479 and booked with THG,we are going back in November and they are offering us the same price, my question is I've tried the other agents that you suggested on another thread and it seems none can beat THG so I was wondering if you have any more suggestions, also should we book now or take a chance and hope the price comes down, the other thing is the reason we may have been quoted this fare is we need to travel on saturday 8th nov and return on either sat22nd or sun 23rd due to work commitments, any help/suggestions would be appreciated, what about

SoCal, The HighFive is on the corner of soi 8 and second road opposite the first stop beer bar, everything is freely available in the immediate area as for the hotel I have stayed there 3 times and have never had any problems but you do get what you pay for, by this I mean that the hotel (except for the lobby area ) is a little run down, the pool (on the roof) has needed a clean on occasion and some times the towels were old and smelly, just get them changed, the rooms I reccomend are on the 7th floor and overlooking soi 8 but don't get 704 unless the new building across the other s

Hi Vanilla, I just got back from pty, stayed at the flipper house on soi 7 they had a good deal on, it is stay for 7 nights only pay for 5, this worked out at 535baht a night, if your staying 14 nights its the same but if your staying for more than 7 but less than 14 then the extra nights are charged at 650baht per night, or you could try either the high five around the corner on soi 8 (ask for room 703, 704 bigger rooms with balcony's)+ (aircon on all the time) or the carlton pattaya on second road both were charging 500baht per night last week.
