  11. Just seen Emirates flights for the end of April, any flight out of LHR and any out of BKK, for £479. Think i might just book a flight soon for that period.
  12. Hahahahahahahah, warmer weather, you make me laugh. Im back in the UK, nothing warm about this place at all. Had a fantastic blast out there, as i always do when i go skiing.
  13. I live within a approx 5 min WALK from Heathrow, and they seemed to have replaced the A340's as of late. They are now back onto the B747's, and i have been told that AVOD has now been introduced onto these B747'S.

  23. Just returned back from a truely amazing Ski holiday in Austria. We had everything from a complete whiteout where you couldnt even see your hand in front of your face, to truely amazing blue skies and sunshine. Snowed pretty much everyday except for the Wed and Thurs. Here's the photos............................... Start the Hoilday off with a hearty brekkie at JDW in Gatwick. The view from my bedroom window. Me The first of many lunches on the mountain, Currywurst and chips. The Gastehaus that i stayed in. Wednesday was the first day of sunshine, this was taken up on the Zillertal Arena. The Q's were big. Me. A shame this lift wasnt open, it would of opened the area right up. Not entirely sure how he drove this to the top. So cold up there, that ice was created against anything metal. Time for another lunch stop, this time Germknodel and Almdudler to drink. Going up the Hintertux Glacier. Real pukka blue glacier ice. This stuff has been around for 1000's and 1000's of years, since the last ice age. Not everybody leaves the mountain the same way they arrived. Sometimes the meat wagon has to be called into service. Another mountain favourite for lunch, Kaiserschmarrn. Beautiful white out conditions. Even the old hammer and nail game from the bars has made it to Austria now. Yes, this wind was gusting at over 75mph has we tried to make it down the piste safely. Apres ski is always big in the Austrian Alps.
  24. I agree with you Joe, i hope boardie's on here and other boards can find the time to make the trip out there. I think its worth the travel and taxi ride.
