they have a coupe of different size rooms - but go for the gusto and get the biggest room - about 400 baht (this was 2 years ago). was up about 3 floors from go-go...so no noise. Tim has a HUGE safe - like from a bank - that you can store your stuff in - but be advised that Tim is not always around when you want to get in to the safe. my biggest problem was having to go through the go-go to get to my room....always "forced" me to have another drink or three. but from what i have heard there is now an entrance in the rear/side to get to the rooms. all in all a good place to stay - food is

I find it much easier to deal directly with the hotel via email. If they ask/demand deposit and/or credit card info - I refuse and find another. Most confirm via email with no deposit required. And, of course, I re-confirm just prior to departure.

Flew China Air once...never again....departed HNL late, departed TPE late, departed Japan late and therefore, arrived in BKK LATE (about 2 1/2 hours late). Plus being in the TPE airport for 5 or 6 hours listening to the LOUD overhead speakers making constant announcements in Chinese. Only good thing was they had about twice the number of flight attendants as JAL/United/N'West. My airline of choice is JAL...Only one stop at Narita or Kansai and they have recently established a flight that arrives at 2015 BKK time (instead of the normal 2345). This is from HNL.
