Now, you unveiled my hidden business....
-
I walked by some times... the building looks really nice, but the surrounding environment is really poor.... situated between a garbage dump and an empty field and in front of a concrete wall... However, the location is great... close to everything....
-
Unbeatable offer IMO if you ready to use motorbikes....

Many condo owners like the newer buildings and upgrade.... just like myself. My first condo was located in the building B. which one was built a year earlier. When building A was built, I moved overthere ( newer, much less walk from the etrance )... When VT5 was built I considered to move again... One of my mate did it ( moved from VT2 to VT5 ) and I visited him to sniffing around... He is really happy with his choice, he catched a great condo with a huge stairway balcony. He is disappointed in the VT 5 about the pool area and still many times come back to the VT 2 if he want spending his time around a pool. My own and biased reasons I don't moved: For my own habits not worth the almost double price for a slightly bigger studio. In the VT2 the difference between the 37 and the 42 sqm studios are huge, not because of the room size, but because of the kitchen size... My other concern was, I hated in the VT2 building B. the long walk from the street... uncomfortable if I want just to drop out for a meal or a massage... and really uncomfortable when I took home a girl... you can't avoid the long walk unless you buy a bicycle travel between the building and the street... as one of my mate did still living in building B. The VT5 is more expensive because of the the beachfront staus ( not because bigger, as the sqm prices are higher ) I have two choice: Building C ( ? ) really beachfront, but the same problem as the VT2 B, the long walk from the street... Building D is a short walk from the street, but not really a beachfront condo for the price of a beachfront condo. Note, the name of the buildings... C and D... it means there will be buildings A and B. probably on the Jomtien side, so the situation may be the same like the TV6 vs Central Festival parking slot... broken view... Also gave me concerns the low occupancy... OK, I know by the law the building constructors must to pay the annual maintenance fees until the shells are sold, but this is Thailand...but years later the buildings were completed, still no entry card system, no visitor card system ( ? ) only one security guy sleeping peacefully near the elevator... Anyone can visit the pool area - we had serious problems with it in the VT2 until the electronic entry card system was introduced and the pool area was surrounded - what isn't a problem now with the low occupancy in the VT5, but may be an issue later... If the two complexes were built at the same time, with the recent conditions I would probably choose the VT2A... I can't say about the others.... as many people so many expectations...what is important for me, maybe not important for the others and vica versa...
-
Excellent and balanced report, based on personal experiences and facts.... thank you very much for the add.
-
Years ago I bought my first condo in the building for 860.000 baht..... I can understand this, it was the reason why I considered to move overthere.... Yes, they were replaced, but for the worst IMO... OK, don't slapping the door, but it became slower... BTW normally all the 3 elevators works.... Blah blah blah, crap and a burp.... opinions, no any facts...and....lies ( no balcony in VT2 ) repetative bullshit, no replies...( some kind of tunnel view not reading only reply... ) Farang quotes or not, check the air cons on the balconies.... Ahh.... not worth to try with a mentally defected...
-
You can play with the words.... 50%+ empty.... VT2 isn't.... Nothing to do with the fact I was a prick loser to lend money for a scam artist.....however a week ago he was arrested... we will see what will happen... With the rest of your post we have no argues.... I don't told, the VT2 is better, than VT5.... just different. Both has pros and cons as I mentioned in the OP... Agree with you, on my last 9 month trip I entered into the sea maybe 3 times... visited the beach maybe 10 times... But I don't wanted mixing the facts with my personal references.... Bizarre to see, how don't disturb you the facts and you believe in the word magic... you think if repeat enough times: The sky is purple, then the sky will be purple... Agree, market don't lie.... see the 50%+ unsold for years units....
-
What about to discuss the facts about the buildings instead of the personal, east europeans are tuskers thread...What next ? To tell the VT buildings were built for the east europeans ? However you are right... I like the VT buildings reminds me my youth... my dormitory times...

If I want more attention I will do a winding up post in the member's bar, not in the rarely visited Market section..... And you see, you make this thread a stage for my silly rants.... You stated something and libelled one person not member on this board and an other came here to reply being Harris Black without any evidences. Why useless and boring thread to compare the TV2 and 5 ? If you don't interested, don't visit it.... but it seems my nickname is a magnet for you to stalk over me and burp something... Please explain me this...... " How funny is that Gabor puts cons in the pros on 5 ." Compare the corridors: VT2 VT5 http://www.agoda.com...ominium_5d.html Swimming pools: Vt5: VT2: Utilize ??? A hint: swimming.... Yes, you can walk in the VT2 in daytime... not at the night time... In the VT5 one security sleeping peacefully on a chair next to the elevator... No, in the VT2 are not available the magical elevators moving only one directions...the generator serves both the down and the up travels... The following facts I admitted in the OP... True, there was problems with the thai management, and one employee stole a lot of money... but already a few years ago the farang committee manage the building.... ( we don't had to pay the theft ) Please let me know if any shells are available for 450.000, I want to buy it....seriously....if you can't... your statement is only. I'm sorry to say, but your friend was a dark dumb....I bought my very first condo through the internet, not being in the city....If he is a cretin or a cheapo not to hire a lawyer ( 10-15.000 baht ) he was worthy being scammed...
-
Yeah,... VT2 is sold out, while the VT5 is empty / unsold 50% + ... no one corner condos are sold I can see from my balcony... it's not about the real market, it's about the wild dreams of the farang sellers.... maybe you are one of them...
-
Evil ...debil gave me a negative vote here...... Any reason ? ( still now 8 visitors and only one voted..easy to check... ) Maybe still angry being catched to spread lies about some non members and accuse them being Harris black... Ohh.... Ok... I know... many mates will vote negatives... instead to vote honestly... and again... no votes about the posts, but a personal revenge...
-
Ok, I'm tired from the threadfuck in my own business offer thread and I admit I was guilty too in this... as the VT5 vs VT2 and the magical elevators started to spread in the other threads by Parkwahn ( I was also guilty ... but hell, I needed to reply on the shifty innuendos.... ) OK... MM, please restrict our rants here.... if you don't want it to spread and if you see this the proper way... and please import here also our debate from the past..... However I don't want to crate an other off topic, winding up thread, I'm really interested about the opinion of the others don't wanted to participate in our flamewar... so a poll is due... A very kind beg.... please don't vote on me on Parkwahn... Vote on the options... I will try to summarize the facts, assumes, estimates... you are welcome to add your opinion, the poll will be very strict and hopefully dry... VT5: Pros: A newer ( 3-5 years ) building with bigger ( 48 vs 42 sqm ) rooms, noticeable bigger balconies... Closer to the beach, you can call building C ( ? ) a beachfront condo... Because of the lack of the occupancy almost empty pool area, less disturbing neighbors. Cons: Maybe because of the lack of the occupancy, less money for the services like the card entry system, the security and some other services like the first floor businesses. The noticeable smaller swimming pools. Long walk to and from the beachfront building to the street. VT2: Pros: Excellent security ( yes farangs can walk in at th daytime ... but my mate, who rented a condo was stopped when he tried to leave the building with his baggages including a PC and two huge monitors... I had to prove them and include my copy pf passport ) Huge swimming pool, probably the best in the area. Many services on the first floor ( massages, laundries, beauty salons, 3 restaurants etc ) Cons: 5-10 minute walk to the beach vs the beachfront location. Smaller rooms ( 42 sqm vs 48 sqm ) with noticeable smaller balconies ( but still ok to sit for 2 people around a table... true, not comfortable ) Because of the popularity, you may experience disturbing neighbors, usually tourists and the swimming pool area sometimes may be crowded, but no strangers because of the electronic entry card system. I don't want to include the elevator and the corridor size nonsense here. Pricing: VT5: The average buying price is 50.000 baht / sqm ie. a studio costs average 2.4 mill baht The average renting fee is 20-25.000 baht / month VT2: The average buying price is 36-40.000 baht / sqm ie. a studio costs average 1.5 mill up to 1.68 mill The average renting fee is ( for the 42 sqm condos... smaller condos are also available for less ) 14-18-000 baht / month
-
Too bad, the facts and the photos I quoted many times don't disturb you.... just empty blah blah about your own opinion.... nothing more...
-
Do you believe this nonsense ?? Unbeliavable.....
-
A picture from the VT5.....
-
-
Tell me something new... like the elevators traffic only in one direction.... Sad song: I'd call it the corridor song....wider 4 times blues...
-
I always take a big portion fine Emmenthaler with me... ( in Pattaya costs 10 times more ) I'm using cooling packs you can buy at any supermarket, usually next to the ice cream section... helps a little bit when packing with it some frozen hungarian salamis... Put it in the checked package, a few times the customers wanted to confiscate it as possible explosives... ( In Vienna I saw with my own eyes, how the officers share the loot between themselves... ) Don't worry.... following a few hours back in the refrigerator it will be fine...
-
Yes... we have elevators traffic only upstairs.... No card entry system.... I walked in too to the VT5 to visit my mate there, only one security guard slept peacefully on a chair next to the elevator... They went forward with some good solutions ( bigger balcony ) and some saving solutions ( small pools ) In the VT7 only one small pool for the three wings... the newer the building, the pools are shrinking... Visit the website.... facts, not estimates....
-
You may be right., however in the VT2 you can't see balconies without air con ( the sign of the uninhabited status ) whilst the VT5 is full of them.... However some interesting facts: View Talay 5 condominiums in Jomtien 86 Units for sale 59 Units to rent http://pattayacondoguide.com/condominiums/View-Talay-5-condominiums-in-Jomtien,47.html View Talay 2 condominiums in Jomtien 38 Units for sale 55 Units to rent http://pattayacondoguide.com/condominiums/View-Talay-2-condominiums-in-Jomtien,46.html You are right, the age difference between the two building is 3-5 years... depending from the buildings... The average selling prices: VT5 50.000bt / square metres vs. VT2 35-40.000 / square metres... so nothing to do with the bananas..... As the corridors.... here is 2 pix about the VT5 corridors, the reader may decide about the differences....is it really bigger 4 times, than the TV2 ? http://www.agoda.com/asia/thailand/pattaya/view_talay_condominium_5d.html The cherry on the cake is the total lack of any security....
-
The pool size in VT2 something 70 metres, in VT5 maybe 20.. ( I don't responsible about the correct numbers, just a biased estimate.... I'm not in Pattaya, but I promise to you I will check it for you in september ) oligists.... am I right, are you a dickologist ? ( I may remember wrong ) 12.5 % , 125 %, 1.7 million ? I may be dumb, but I can't figure what about you are talking... As I mentioned I never saw a normal balcony, so I can't comment.... as the 4 times wider ( ? ) or higher ( ? ) corridors... hmm... it must be a maybe 10 X 10 metres corridor ?... huhh.... for the readers... the corridor in the VT2....try to imagine the 4 time bigger corridors.... You are right, VT5 is a beachfront condominium....huh.... WTF... why do I write the same for the 3rd times ??? For the dyslectic poster: Ok... I will write slowly, maybe the message will be not lost on the way between your retina and your brain....Yes, the market priced the VT5 sellers wild dreams.. for years it is UNSOLD and EMPTY.... NO ONE corner condo is sold I can see from my balcony...
-
There are many aspects how to choose.... Lalana to compare the TV is something like to compare the apples with bananas... nothing common...
-
Maybe the smaller picture was enough to fit the small pool of the VT5... BTW are you dyslectic ??? I wrote, not my pix... stolen from here: www.viewtalay.eu Are you interested with the VT5 ? Ok... again.... VT5 is half empty, the majority of the units are UNSOLD.... No one - maybe one - sold corner condo I can see from my balcony... They are empty... dead....
-
I must to admit you are right... I called him especially to know the right sum, yes it is 6.000 baht. No doubt, VT6 has very high demand... mine is rented out from 2nd of july for a month... VT2 has two huge pools, one for each building.... VT5 has two small pool... I don't met any broken tiles, however true, there was a warning for a while.... as the corridors..... true, at the daytime the lightening is partially turned off.... however the VT5 corridors doesn't looked lighter, but you may be right I don't wanted to compare. You are right, VT5 absolutely newer... I can't prefer about the balcony sizes, as my mate living there, have a condo with a huge, stairway balcony, not the usual one. Yes, as I replied you in an other thread, we have a power generator. I myself used the elevators when the power was off... The generator is situated behind the building in a small house. Yes, the market looking for the snobbish customers, I myself wanted to change from VT2 to VT5 until I looked in the deep picture... However in the VT5 still 50% + units are empty... unsold. On my last visit, even some 1st floor business units were empty. Fully possible your TG friend pays 12.000, there are available condos for this price for long term. Building B and lower floors are cheaper. OK, here two different pix from a website offers condos for sale in both VT2 and VT5... ( BTW, on my pix you can compare the size of the pool with the cars vs swimming people ) Yes, the market is the market.... not the wild dreams of the sellers... VT2 is full, VT5 is half empty.... As the.... ologists... nice to see the negative on my reply: Yes we have.
