My own decision making reasons: Photos or food sculptures to see what i will get.... Prices shown simply and understandable... and visible... Not only russian, finnish, german menus opened at the entry...but english... Value for the ingredients were invested in the food... No any pizzas, sphagetties .... close nothing invested in the ingredients, just the tourist rip off... my duck noodle soup for 50 baht invested a quarter duck... No any russian food ... I can buy a won-ton soup for 20 baht, whilst the won tons with a drop of sour cream and a small piece of dill is sold for 150 baht as a russian food called: pelmeni... ( the russians are the worst type of the ripoff target.... they are simple dumb.. ) The same in the hungarian - austrian restaurant Treff on Naklua... a lousy piece of dip fried pork liver sold for 320 baht as a nostalgy... I have a kitchen in my condo and I can cook...( and I do it better, than the restaurant thai employees ) Why pay for two fried eggs ( 10 baht costs for me ) two toasts ( 2 baht ) coffee ( 5 baht ) etc... 180 baht called it a " Jumbo breakfast " ? So... i will be happy to visit any restaurants shows the right prices vs the invested ingredients...

...the broth tastes like a classic european bouillon with thick taste, I think in it was cooked many many things... but it is good... and served like a thai noodle soup...

If I could eat it with chopsticks and spoon, i'm sure you can too... I can't refer about the other foods, as we go there especially for the beef soup... A months ago a friend ordered a Tom Yam Moo which was poor in ingredients, almost only the broth ... and Boat noodle which looked like a messed up Pad Thai... OK, some more honest words... the unfriendliest waiters maybe in the whole city... twice the noodle was missed, we had to ask it separately.... But the beef soup worth the hassle... at least for us....

On my last trip a mate advised me this option... and it became like a cult, me and the mates who comes with me on my spa days - if any - following the sauna we go on a pilgrimage for the " beef soup "... until the hot months comes... ( no air con in the restaurant ) A strange experience... the broth tastes like a classic european bouillon with thick taste, I think in it was cooked many many things... but it is good... and served like a thai noodle soup... the plenty of the soft and tender beef meat, some thai broccoli and the thick broth... originally it is not spicy at all, but a little bit sweet like the european bouillon ( because of the carrot... but no sign of the carrots in the bowl ) so a little bit of dried chilly powder is due to add to get the thai noodle soup experience... A great experience for 52 baht ( in may it was only 45 ) ... on my movie days enough for a day food adding the few chocolates and soda pops I enjoy in the movie....

Two sublime moments... the take off and the landing.... all between is a torture...

A great idea IMO...however it was new to me.... I liked really much the raw onions...the same you will get in any fast food hamburgers...

Not... I know very well the cheese.... the two slice of the cheese were real and original cheese....not a question, but a simple fact...

Following my fiasco in the Carl's Jr, time to try a restaurant burger. The appetizer salsa was delicious, but I'm afraid not authentical.... however all of my knowledges about the salsas originated from the imported, canned food... so maybe they weren't authentic... all in all the presented salsa was fresh, tasty... not the so salted canned one. great appetizer for 40 baht. The burger arrived, accompanied with vegetables and french fries ( you can choose 4-5 different side orders ) looked a bit frigging for the first sight..... Ok... I'm a fast food burger gourmand, my lack of the etiquette... first of all the steak knive and the fork confused me... No problem, I will eat in my style... so I opened the sandwich to create it from the components were served separately, include the basic sauces ( mayo, mustard, ketchup ) and the added other sauces, like steak, chilly sauce etc... I moƶaned about the too many sauces in the Carl's JR, so it was a perfect choose to do it myself... so... I opened the sandwich and a huge, fragrant piece of grounded steak and two slice REAL cheeese....and I designed the burger for my own taste... looks better, isn't it ??? Baiting it I felt the real, natural material... no meat foams, no paper buns, but real things, not dissolve in your mouths, but you have to fight with it to enjoy the tastes... The taste of the meatball was dominant and tasty... it would be, even if it was drown in sauces...but it wasnt... The bun was solid until the last bite... Ok, I now I can't compare a franchise fast food burger with a home made, but I can the prices... Carl's JR was 261 baht, ( true, with the beverage ) this handmade artwork was 160 baht.... my own, biased verdict: Recommended...

First of all I must to admit I'm not familiar with the indian food... better to say I know nothing about it. Thanx for my Freeplayo points I decided to give a try. The venue really nice, however a little bit kitsch, remembered me a theme designed small, old GOGO bar on the soi Diamonds... but without the girls... Without any knowledge I choose with blind eyes... the tikka masala sounded exotic... not the usual rice garnish, but indian bread with mint leafs... I don't know if it was authentic or not - probably was - because I never tried anythink like this before, but it was really tasty.... exactly so spicy as it was enjoyable, a huge portion with generous amout of sauce... I felt the sauce was made from fresh vegetables, no powder, no creams... the chicken was chicken, not easy to mess it up. My only slight criticism: For me it was a little bit salty, but it means nothing, I like my average food without or with minimum salt ... The bread was delicious, fresh and warm from the " tandoor "... true, the mint leafs were only decoration, I don't felt at all any mint taste.... Also was served four little saucers.... dip sauces for the bread, all of them pleasantly tasty... a yoghurt based ( for me the best ), a green one made from some fresh leafs and a kinda sweet chilly sauce..... and some chopped vegetables with herbs...excellent taste...I may be a boorish guest, but I ate it all, just like a salad.... Despite of the great experience, the 310 baht bill was sobering.... ( BTW it was a cheap choice from the menu )

Carl's Jr Central Festival Pattaya American Fast Food

Tried today... the environment nice, but nothing special... Ordered the " Superstar combo " ...The girl asked me what size of the side ? I don't understood her question, I thought maybe an extra portion offfer ? Thanx not, please the combo... And the product 7 minutes later arrived with a minimalist style of french fries.... The very first impreesion was: Too much sauces in it, no any other taste, just some kind of mawkish tomato sauce kills all other tastes... The cheese inside turned also into a kind of sauce, so I called it " sauceburger " ... The meat cake was thinner, than in the Burger king's double Whooper....( an add to the picture: my hand's size like a thai girls hand ) Because of the many sauces, the roll started quickly being wet.... And before to finish the sandwich it was already a mess... the roll was dissolved in the sauces... and in the result I felt first time in the life of the sandwich the meat cake... it seemed - seemed only, because of the still messy environment - the beef cake was tasteless.... I think this experience was highly overpriced on the thai market, at the same time SIZZLER offered a huge ( at least on the picture ) " chopped steak " with salad buffet for 239 baht.... I still don't really understand the " What size of side " policy... it seems the promoted offers on the boards are basic, with minimalist portion of french fries.... however, despite of the size of the glasses - if any - the soda popis offered in refill system...( The junior -I think the smaller - combos are around 180 baht ) My own and biased verdict: Burger King wins with a knock out... -
