  1. You and your staff had a great night or the customer's had a great night ?
  2. Visited yesterday.... it was full with customers ( the most crowded night I ever witnessed in this bar ) , many new girls, a few lookers....
  3. Yesterday visited the venue with friends.... The start wasn't promising, the venue full, almost no seats available.... we looked for a seaview table....the rude and arrogant waitress burped out, No free tables, if you don't believe up to you... and left us... We sat down in an inner table.... ordered the food, the waitress here was polite and kind, we wited 25-30 minutes for the food, what if fair IMO with such a huge venue full with customers. The food - as my mates rated it - simple excellent... Tom yum khung: Huge portion, 10 big shrimps in the soup, the broth was just right, not the usual spicy and sour water, but something thick.... and spicy on the best way....( 140 baht ) Pad khapao khung: me looked a bit small portion, but the mate who ordered it told: The taste is great, never ate so good one and fully enough with the tom yum khung... ( 140 baht ) Draught Tiger beer 50 baht.
  4. my own personal choices..... PBG... close to everything and the view unbeatable..... Nang Nual on WS,,,, ( lobster thermidor is great ) Lung Suway on the south end of Jomtien:
  5. Transformed to a tourist trap with the 1500 barfines fraud and employ the " my shit don't stink " agency girls I no wonder too... see more in my biased rants.... http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/topic/59396-some-more-biased-rants-from-gabor/page__st__225#entry996666
  6. I visited many years the Misty's.... the best girls ever were in the venue....nowadays....The generous happy hour is just a bonus...
  7. When I use the air con I calibrate it to 29 celsius and on the " dry " mode, not on the cooling... What is the most annoying for me is the humidity, not the temperature... in Pattaya no extreme high temperature, just the high humidity... In the result I have 27-28 celsius with dry air... the most comfortable choice for me...
  8. yeah... the fishes probably jumped voluntarily into the boat, just having a lunch together.....here we go again,.... the smartass starts his lame games... It was yesterday.... on the sea cloudy, but no real rain...but it was visible, better to say the invisible city because of the heavy thunderstorm... we returned early because of the depressing weather, but at 5pm it was already sunny .... Not at all, just like the elder ladies enjoyed the tour ....
  9. http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/topic/59847-boat-fishing-trip/#entry992396
  10. The transfer boat The tour boat Some elder ladies looks more brave, than some of our lionhearted members.... Relax No any high tech, GPS etc.... The thai style life vests... The catch of the fishes was poor to compare with the other trips.... maybe because of the rainstorm... But still enough for a good lunch.... Relax around the island....
  11. Maybe the computer and the music tower works 24/7....
  12. Thank you very much for the detailed reply
  13. Some updates.... Yesterday I thought: Of course I'm insured...but I don't choose the hospital for three reasons... 1. my mate got the infusion, the antibiotics etc in the PI hospitaland his condition became no any better... Following the yesteday's second infusion and stronger medicines a slight progress... 2. Every day I feel better and better... but at some point fall back... 3. As I mentioned I had multiple bad experiences with the antibiotics and I hope to survive without it....( and hope everyday when I feel better and better ) Today: A strange thing... woke up at the morning and felt myself much better.... until I don't checked my temperature: 38.5 .... maybe the climate, but here I feel the best when my fever going up, I don't feel the hot, just feel myself like in the fresh environment... So, go to the hospital... a big jab to my ass... and to forget my previous medication... new tablets... What a mess... I googled about the medicines I got.... Antibiotic tablets with serious possible side effects, antitussis tablets ( pure codein ) pain and fever killer with narcotic ingredients, and antihystamine makes dizzy...... Somehow my temperature started to lower and started to sweat heavily.... every hour a new t-shirt...and on a happy " trip " from the narcotic elements... everything has the bright side
  14. i use 1 units.... However a question for you, what size of the condo you use the 9000 BTU air con ? I was thinking to change my recent air con ( no idea how much BTU no any sign on it ) and for my 42 sqm in the shops offered me 12.000 up to 40.000 ( ! ) BTU.... I can't get a real answer....
  15. I pay for the electric company... Checked it.... I pay 4.2 baht / unit....I never checked it before, just saw how much mymates pays when they rent.... However, my last bill was almost 1500 baht and I rarely use the air con....
  16. ???? In the VT2 I pay around 5-6 baht / unit.... renters charges 7 baht...
  17. Me and my mate suffer probably from the same thing.... One week latency with fatigue and some coughs and sore throats ( disappeared very soon for both of us ) ... and then the blast... heavy cough, high temperature, pain in the stomach, in the eyes, in the bones...I had a diarrhoae within one hour I lost 2 kilo... it started for him 5 days ago, for me 3 days ago... He went to the PI hospital today to receive an infusion for the second time, to start the second round of the antibiotics... he is still feel bad... I started the antibiotic free cure... yesterday was the worst day with 38.5 fever...all day in a semi coma... today much better, only 37.3... the only symptoms I still have the eye ache and started to sweat like a pork in the oven... ( probably because the fever lowers ) My cure: Carinose ( anti hystamin ) Mucosolvan ( make unrip the phlegm ) Apracur ( a combination of Paracetamol and three other active ingredients ) 3 X 1000 mg vitamine C, Royal jelly capsules and sachets of Honey with herbs and propolis.... At this moment it seems more effective...

  23. Following the Viet restaurant thread I decided to try it... The Saigon bistro situated in the Central Festival Centre on the 6th floor. A big sign of the All you can eat ( 12-18 from monday to friday ) but no any signs of the buffet table... Walked in, looked left, looked right, buts till no any signs of the buffet... However to observe the menu, not a cheap restaurant...but also not an expensive... Nobody approached to me to help looking on my confused stagger, I had to ask one of the waiter about the buffet concept... He throwed a special menu in my hand and started to jabber: You can choose any items from this menu, as much as you want, they are reduced in quantity... you have 90 minutes to do it, the not eaten items will be billed as extras for the menu prices... My orders arrived randomly, at least I don't saw any logic in it... Crispy fried egg noodle with pork: It was almost perfect... no any harsh tastes, but really tasty, tender pork meat, crispy vegetables... yummie... Too sad, the crispy egg noodle stack was almost inedible with the cutlery, so I gobble it with my forks and hands... It was tasteless, but somehow gave a good impression to the whole experience... BBQ pork noodle soup: It was tasty, the pork tasted like real BBQ pork from the charcoal...was tender and delicious... Thanx God, no additional spices on the table to ruin it's taste... ( the thais sat next to my table got the usual 4 item spice set ) However the glass noodle was more rough, than in the usual thai noodlesoup,so again a fight with it... Yes, the reduced portion... maybe in the quantity of the meat, but not in the noodle... a cheap trick... I would order an other one if not the restrictions about the inedible items, just to put the meat into the original soup...but I don't wanted any more noodles... Yum Wunsen and pork sausage: The typical thai glass noodle salad with pork sausages... The pork sausage was forgettable, but the salad was tasty, crispy fine vegetables and spicy... and I mean spicy... but not the direct way the thai food is spicy, but in a shifty way... When I ate the salad it was fine... but when I finished it the torture started... not only my tongue, but my lips started to burn... and heavily... The people looked on me with a strange view, to see me fishing out the ice from the coke and suckle them, sometimes use it as a lipstick to relieve my lip burn... It made almost 10 minutes to get back to normal... Understand me right... I'm eating spicy in thailand and Ihave no problems with it, many of my mates can't eat my meals because of the chilly... but it was something different... Heo la Lot: Grounded pork with spices lapped up in some leafs... it was tasty despitethe leafs were a little bit bitter, but OK...the dipping sauce was something different from the dipping sauces I know, but delicious... A great food... but I would forget the rigid ( again ) glass noodles it was served with... OK, let see the ice cream...a surprise, was offered also in the menu... They don't made any frills... a huge tray with cups.. one ice cream ball in every cup... 5-6 different tastes... I choose two cups, one chocolate and one vanilla... Tha waiter asked me with a strange face: Are you sure it will be enough ? Not a stylish feed for the eyes, but a feast for my tongues... delicious, high quality thick ice creams... All in all the quality of the food was vary, from the superb fine to the killing spicy ones... Obviously the " buffet idea " was founded on the high quality food concept with the " feed the customer with the noodle to be stuffed quick " Looking around, the menu ordered foods were huge portions, some shared one food for two... The waiters were almost unfriendly, but correct... In the " buffet menu " was included the coke refill, but I had to remember the waiters to refill... except when I desperate sucked the eye cubes to get rid of my lip burn... The buffet price was friendly, 198 baht including the beverages and the ice cream... ( somehow the 198 baht on the bill was 207 baht... probably the + hidden VAT system imported from the US... try this in my own country, where the VAT is 27% ) Great offer for the big eaters, but not for me, because of the noodle invasion... If the items were on a real buffet table I would be a regular...
