The risk, being a fair and customer friendly bar.... no tricky barfines, no rectrictions, no sly mamasans, no coyotees, supermodels, agency girls.... for those who wants only an eyewank maybe not the best venue... but a great place if you want the real deal... the worst may happen, you are unlucky because the others were faster...with the prices they charge, the lack of the agressive ladydrink demand, without the hello girl scam.... not too much to lose.... I don't know... many thinks it is a compliment ... IMO it is an insult... the translation: No girls to barfine, but cheap booze to get the mood to go to hunt... For me this bar many times good to END of my WS prowls....( I myself start my prowls with the hopeless bars, just to check... maybe... )

You are absolute right.... there are the proper sub forums to post for the involved members ( married, living in Thailand, but somewhere else. ) ....AND not to pollute the "real field " scene with their " own biased rants" ...only opinions, ( Stockholm syndrome ) but zero field experiences... IMO the newbies are interested about the " real fileld experiences on the local bar scene " and not about the insider married or living in an other city infos... ( the possible new customers in the FLB ) Who are interested about those infos, they may visit / post in the sub forums you mentioned...in the proper place for those discusses... The biggest shame on this board.. because of the clique posters adds nothing about the "real scene " but flame everyone out from the clique... discourage the new members to share anything... i have a thick skin ... but the most newbies don't...

Bigmick, Siam sam, Chesire Tom... who moans here...great posters... full with useful infos about Thailand... but nothing to do with the bar scene ( married, living out from pattaya etc... ) the question arise... why the possible newbies visits the board ??? ( the potentional customers of the FLB ) To know how to live with a thai wife, to know the news from the south areas.... OR... to read about the Pattaya bars ???? Where are the best girls, how to bargain and whre are the best deals ???

It was just a test... and it was proved.by the 9 negatives ... this board better may to pray for the active posters, than to nurse the silent, agressive censors ( the maniacs )...IF you want to moderate something apart from the official announcements and the commercial posts....Lately ...IMO... just my own and biased opinion... zero useful fresh field reports, just the mental wanks and the private chat of some agressive non mongers....rules the board... use to be it was a great fun, full with field reports, shared experiences.... agreed or not... but a discuss.... a full evening activity to read the new posts... nowadays less, than 5 minutes to check... I tell you what you did wrong: You tried to impress them with your thai knowledge, instead to show your retired visa or your work permit...( electric bill on your name ) so simple... me and my two other expat mates made the discount card without any hassles, questions and prompt... A rent receipt of a condo, a californian drivers license, a PIH card has nothing to do being an expat in Pattaya... any 2 week visitor can show.... It can happen in Spanky's.... In the high season an ex regular - barfined beforehand a few times - always was good for a ladydrink when I was with my mates in the bar....No barfine intentions, just the stagparty....Once I visited the bar alone to hunt...A ladydrink etc... she apologized, too many customers, too many ladydrinks, she don't want to go with me tonight.... OK, no problems, can happen in any bars... I can understand her.... I just mentioned her, if i'm coming alone, come to me only if you want to go with me, otherways let me look on the other girls.... From this moment i'm a persona non grata in the bar.... Ignored, like a piece of vomit... Anyway... I like the bar, I drag my mates there but I know what to expect...

Revisited again.... only two of us, two farangs....We ordered 1 oysters, 3 shasimi and 2 fried rice...with two soda... and paid 830 baht... So... beware... go with some thai girls....Just the same farang rip off, like Lung Suway on Jomtien....

Dancewatcher's really high prices IMO worth the value... many of my friends lived in their condos and I witnessed the best quality of everything in the condos. The services they offer also not cheap, but also quality with a sense... And what is more important, they are absolute correct and fair...( not like some other agencies in the building, may cancel your room a few days before your arrival, if they found a better deal... ) My mates wanted to rent a 60.000/month condo for a month.... no chances, because it was already rented out for 2 ( TWO ) days in advance in the mentioned period... The few units on the first floor with window walls and a courtain looking on the corridor is for those, who think they will find a condo upon their arrival... and no, they don't... In the high season 1000/day, in the low season 600/day... ( incl the electricity )

( not only the price ) if the 35000 / sqm will be accepted... I'm not hungry... just playing with an idea....

Being too ardent drive the prices high.... just like with the girls... I just play with the idea ...to change my condo for a bigger one... I was happy here for 10 years... so no any hurry...
