  1. If you have a Facebook account make a search for Mr Yo... reliable for good prices, always reply within a few hours, so the emergency calls also works... I used him 7 times in my recent trip ( me and my mates ) and always was good...
  2. A small piece of dip fried meat, some rice and a few leafs...sauce and a miniature piece of the marinated ginger.... you can find it much cheaper in Pattaya.... You can find a Cordon Blue with french fries and salad for 70 baht in the Tops supermarket.... true, a poor and sad environment... Talking about the food, you overpaid... talking about the experience probably not....
  3. Funny thing... I looked for shorts in the Outlet in the Big C.... and I was shocked to see the label was written in hungarian....
  4. To compare with my country it isn't.... 4 night for cca 7000 baht in a 4 star spa hotel incl. the services... http://accommodationbook.com/Danubius-Health-Spa-Resort-H%C3%A9v%C3%ADz http://accommodationbook.com/Wellness-weekend
  5. the 5.99 CAD + tax Adidas deo costs 90 baht brutto in Hungary... EDIT: Even less... ( 1 THB = 7.5-8 HUF ) http://www.argep.hu/...Adidas-deo.html
  6. Real bargains: Ciggies ( 1/2 ), local rum, red bull ( 1/4 ) ice coffee ( 1/5 ) noodle soup, local food, transport, movie tickets, ( 1/2 ) clothes ( also the real brands in the outlets )
  7. A NIVEA deodorant here 150-160 baht, in Hungary 60-80 baht.. My recent perfume ( BlackXS - Paco Rabanne ) costs me 8-1100 baht at home, here 3-4000 baht... ( I mean the original ) I was shocked to see the 250-350 baht double whooper menu in the Burger King... it is about 150 baht at home...
  8. Wonton: Pelmeni: The difference is the drop sour cream.... BTW both prices are from the Festival Center restaurant complex.... The market honey is actually not real honey, nothing to do with it... ( as the thais explained me cooked sugar with some sugar canes ) The cheapest real (?) honey costs 360gr 120 baht.... it means cca 350 baht / kilo... in Hungary the various honeys costs 120-180 baht / kilo...
  9. Sour cream, cottage cheese, honey, pickles are local products made for farangs... interesting to see the high prices of the russian meals, where the ingredients are really cheap... a funny trick.... there is the wonton soup you can buy for 25 baht.... they take out the dumplings, put a few drop of sour cream on it and sell it as the russian meal "pelmeni" for 130 baht...
  10. Double or more.... Cheese, sour cream, cottage cheese, salami, sausages, pickles, honey, deodorants, shower gel, perfume, cosmetics...
  11. http://www.basaya.com/activity-sexy-bikini-buffee-party.php
  12. View Talay 6 actually in Pattaya, not on Jomtien... for many the best choice, but if you ( anyone ) want a more relaxed environment the Jomtien location may be better... VT1: Too tired, but really friendly with the little shops / bars etc. on the first floor VT2: In good condition, the best swimming pool in Jomtien incl. Pattaya... ( what I know ) usually crowded, hard to find free rooms in the peak season... VT5: Slowly it become more lively from the ghost house state, small swimming pool... however almost ( you must walk through a hotel ) beachfront buildings... VT7: Really nice build
  13. I use two different Ayuddhya bank ( yellow ) ATM in Jomtien with my farang debit card and I can withdraw 30.000 / transaction.
  14. A great idea and I enjoyed the site with big hopes... but it seems it is still a farang ghetto.... However a great set of pictures shared, the ordinary members of the secretoligists / dicks boards need to polish many arseholes to see ( the level racism to corrupt the members try to make them loyal subjects ) something not near this site can offer...
  15. Yes, they are quite expensive, but you can pick the " special days " for a bargain... The average price from Budapest to Bangkok is 1000+ GBP, but being free with the choice of the timing and using the special days I got my 8 months ticket for less, than 500 GBP...
  16. I fly with the SWISS and I like really much the airline. Newly looking, clean airplanes, relatively good food, enough space to sit. ( Lufthansa, Lauda Air has smaller places ) The airport also very clean and nice ( one of the best smoking room ) Check the terminal about the railway.....
  17. Absolute fair.... i just expressed my own idea of the lifestyle ( not necessery on the poverty side, but as a alternative choice ) and I was immediately attacked... You ( one person ) took it personal on you ( Bigmick ) , instead to read you ( many persons or the unknown subjective ) How the heck should I know how do you ( Bigmick ) can adopt the thai lifestyle ??? ... I'm sorry in your ( all english speaking persons ) language no different words for it... My comments had no any personal intentions to you ( Bigmick )
  18. I don't need to say anything positive about myself... i don't want to shine myself... i share my sucesseses and my failures... Hmm.. are you sure I have a loser life ??? I don't wait anything to happen in my " loser life ".. I'm just happy with my recent life... If you feel, your life is a loser's life, please don't call it my own life... Hahaha... I'm the one who never wait for the wonder, I'm the one who ready to move to the " NEXT"..... at any time... Are you malevolent or just a cretin ?
  19. Maybe your dog is wiser, than you... You may see the same result after the mentioned 6 months... as I live on the same way already 30 years..Working in the media ( making feature movies ) means sometimes you do nothing for 6 months and working like an animal 24/7 for a short time...( maybe 1 months ) I liked always the 6 months periods.. And I'm happy to not know the " after the Sukhumwit road " territory... ( I'm not interstesed ) being a tourist knows only the songthaew line... If the girls are happy with my 1000 bahts, so happy I am... And i'm more happy when they are happy to s
  20. IMO.. adopt the thai way of life... Just doing nothing and enjoy it... I wonder why the westeners always want to do something, keep yorself busy, travelling etc... I'm here already 3.5 months and I'm happy to do intensively nothing... Your pressure to " keep your busy " is one of the evidence you can't adopt the local lifestyle... And if you can't adopt it you will be a stranger, an alien...and never really understand the local things... IMO.... I may be wrong, but I think many girls likes my " thai male " behaviour... I don't drag them from the one activities to the second, I can just share
