Skytrooper, it is not always about the length of someone's posts - impy mac quoted you without spinning anything and you could not answer (but tried to put your own spin on the matter, IMHO ). "Sorry seems to be the hardest word..." -
peder, try becoming a Member of this Board before the 25th - it is in your best interest, IMHO. Good luck to you (there is nothing else one can do for you...)

I must admit it: the subject/member has definitely lost it: enemies all around him, waiting to be killed... Should I be worried? I believe that an apology from you, Skytrooper, to anyone who might have read this post of yours, is due. -

Skytrooper, now, that is a lie. Of course, you might check the meaning of the words "chum" and "to admit" in your M. Webster Dictionary and, subsequently, post a correction of your above quoted statement, along with some much needed apologies. A link to check, should you need a reminder : http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...30entry148919 -

Rather than work on increasing your English comprehension, I suggest you concentrate on history and improving your character and reasoning ability. Many of the German and other Jews who walked into Nazi extermination camps were highly educated. Ignoring the small detail of vicious hoodlums (as you invariably do), having a "willingness to act in order to preserve their own and their fellow citizens' freedom" is of scant value if you're unarmed and helpless in the face of armed oppressors. I know you're not stupid, so I wish you'd cease ignoring reality solely to promote your statist politic -

Skytrooper, just saving the wisdom... Btw, this part definitely qualifies as hillarious: "Unlike your chum, Bazle, I’ve never posted a lie on this or any other Internet board and never refused to defend my posts with reason, facts, and civil language." RWB, I shall add my "2 lipas worth" on "what is it that keeps the people free(?)": 1st and foremost, proper education and awareness of what is happening in the country they live in, directly coupled with the willingness to act in order to preserve their own and their fellow citizens' freedom. IMO, firearms are d -

Skytrooper, though rarely, sometimes you are a true source of inspiration - even though not in the above quoted, but the above positioned post of yours. Here it is: to anyone who might care (though I sincerely doubt that it goes beyond a single digit number ): To the best of my knowledge, Skytrooper refuses to engage in reasoned discourse since he lacks facts to support his political beliefs and his lamentable tendency to avoid the truth. He seemingly enjoys posting the "drive-by" insults like the one above. Or the one above that. Or... (freely paraphrased from Skytrooper' -
SunnyValentine, OK und ich drücke die Daumen für dich / euch (all the best to you). :D Hub, as you seem to be referring to a post of mine in the Members (Relationships...) Section from a week or so ago - I though it was clear to everyone who had read it that it was a tongue-in-cheek response to iono's tongue-in-cheek comment. Would you please re-read it and correct me if I was unclear there and then, within the given context of that thread? Regarding my living in (as opposed to: visiting) the countries other than the one I was born in: well, to make it very short - I h

Hub, you wrote: "Whose idea of civilization exactly? Is only your western idea of that concept valid?" Well, as I am a Croatian citizen, currently living in Croatia, and having lived my life (for a year or longer) in 4 other European (though not necessarily "western") countries, your argumentation is a bit lost on me. Btw, I have no problems with the strength of your responses, though I do struggle a bit with the quality of your argumentation. As the box I am "thinking inside of" (whichever that might be), is seemingly pretty big, I shall add these few questions: Wh

Zivilisation, was is

Skytrooper, it seems to me that you are avoiding to "walk the walk" that you so eloquently preach to everyone else on this Forum - show some responsibility and apologise for your rude and false accusations. Here are some of the links showcasing your ways with the facts, the truth and illustrating your disingenuousness / insincerity, including the "forgery case": http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...=0entry123938 http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...30entry124426 http://www.pattayatalk.com/forums/index.ph...60entry138286 Recent one: http://www.pat -

Dear Skytrooper, I am deeply hurt by your rude and baseless accusations. :crying I expect a full apology from you, as soon as you will have read this. Or should I start posting links to some of your less-than-coherent and, indeed, tragically off-the-point posts, like the one quoted above? Btw, I have also noticed that you are having a bit of trouble with the proper use of tenses, as of lately, especially the Present Perfect - now, that would be perfectly understandable if you were a foreigner, whose mother tongue contains no comparable tense (Croatian, German,...), bu -
Cool and interesting story cowboy - thanks for sharing it. I dare guess that the Italian guy has found that elusive source of blonde Thai girls (including his fiance)?

I never gave the definition of "liberty" you falsely attributed to me. I understand you still haven't got a handle on the English language yet, but I wish you'd cease prevaricating and fabricating when you find yourself in an untenable position. Liberty and freedom are not synonymous. Liberty is a "political condition," just as I stated, not simply a "freedom of movement" as you allege. Here's your English word to study today: Disingenuous. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ... Skytrooper, I have never claimed that y -
SunnyValentine, as you know, I am very far removed from being Mr. America - probably to the point of being considered Mr. anti-America by some of this Forum's members. The dictionary example was mainly directed at our US member Hub, as a reminder of the meaning of the word dowry in his language (as it is just the 3rd languge for me...). With this: "Dowries are very often a reality here, sometimes even for a good reason. All further details on if, how much and the like are to be based on a thorough analysis of the individual situation." I agree. My point was: in Tweety's very

cowboy, in your example, the italian guy is getting the surplus, not-really-earned-or-deserved cash in advance in order to be able to provide a good show while, in effect, paying it back. This means that, effectively, he is not paying for his wife. What bothers me in Tweety's case is that he is really going to pay for his wife and it is not all only about the 'face' / ancient local customs. Btw, I believe that 1 Ferrari in Thailand equals approximately 3 in Italy or 2 in Croatia - ouch. Cheers
