  1. I like very little Techno. I'm into funky house and garage when I'm out clubbin.' Forget about it in Pattaya, the music is SHITE. I've only found really good music (imho) once in Pattaya. Admittedly, I've only had 2 X 3weeks there but I've been to most of the music venues there. The place was on walking street (can't remember the name, sorry) they had a bar at he front with a live band playing your usual shit, you walked to the rear of this bar and up some stairs I think and there's a nightclub with the walls plastered up to make it seem like you're in a cave. There was a bloke from Nottingham, England on the decks who was really good. He was trying to convince the new owner of the club that he could make a go of it but the club was virtually empty, maybe a dozen people in there. Forget Pattaya. There's a good club on the Kao San Road in Bangkok (again I can't remember the name of the place but I think it's the only club on that road, you can't miss it. Downstairs from street level). International DJ's playing in there, very very good music being played when I was in there, you could expect to hear the same in any good London club. Like somebody already said, Thailand's stance on drugs means that a good club scene just aint gonna happen and is probably why M.O.S. is no more. Chok dee
  2. Nexy question has got to be 'How long must I wait before they actually install it'? I think any hotel or serviced apartment that offers broadband internet has a distinct advantage over the competition. It's getting very common now in Bangkok Hotels.
  3. From the movie 'Porky's' I do believe.
  4. That's cos it doesn't work! I added my own password to the list and tried it on my own Hotmail account and got nowhere. Don't waste your time with this crap.
  5. There's a revolving gantry at the top of that hotel. You have to pay to go up there but it gives you a fantastic panoramic view of the city. I managed to shoot a video, doing the full 360 degrees. Anyway, I paid 2500 Baht for an executive suite at President Park. Looking at your photos, P.P. is far superior for the same money. http://www.presidentpark.com/hotels/presid...ark/default.asp
  6. You may not be able to check in for the Aberdeen flight 5 hours prior, in which case you'd have to rush into the Dam, spend maybe 30 mins there (not worth the hassle) and then rush back to check in. No point hangin' around at BKK. Share a cab into town and get a head start on your mates. You might be able to 'get one in' and have a story for them over their first beer in Bangkok! Be lucky :)
  7. Just how many hotmail accounts have you cracked using this method? A big fat ZERO I'll bet. I'll set up an account and give you a month to crack it. What d'ya think?
  8. Valentino, I used to send free text messages via Yahoo from my UK based PC to UK mobiles. That was a couple of years ago. I see you mentioned earlier that you can now text abroad for free. I went to Yahoo to check it out and the only thing I can find is this: http://uk.docs.yahoo.com/mail/compose_sms/index.html It took me ages to find even that! Where do I find the free service? T.I.A.
  9. You can take a plane to Koh Samui from either Bangkok or Pattaya. Beautiful island, crystal clear water. I found the accomodation very poor in Chaweng. To get anything decent you have to pay big bucks in comparison with Pattaya and I'd say more expensive even than Bangkok. I flew from Pattaya to Samui last June. I got picked up from my hotel and driven in a minibus to the airport which was about a half hour drive away. The flight was about an hour. Taxi from airport to Chaweng about 10 mins (expensive). Flight cost 5200 Baht. Minibus to airport was about 300 Baht. Tip: Don't miss the plane coming back like I did! There's only one flight a day to Pattaya. I tried to get my flight changed to Bangkok and was gonna get a taxi/bus down to Pattaya but they wouldn't do it. Said I had to buy new tickets for me and my Pattaya girl. Worked out too expensive so just stayed another night in Samui, lol.
  10. You ever hear the expression "Information is power?" In all seriousness, I won't be checking her email out any more. I just wanted to see if it would work.
  11. Does Hotmail tell you anywhere when you last logged out?
  12. LOL, I just tried it and it worked on one out of two!
