Hi, Many rumours about Chelsea but we will have to wait and see how it all turns out. Newastle looked good in the first half yesterday, then....Kun blows them away. Palace look a nice side, I like teams with good wing play and pace.It looks like the middle rank teams have improved more than the top teams in the last transfer window.

Hi, Manchester Uniteds supporters are in town(can't say Mancunians) to face Arsenal. Should be a good game. Brendan Rodgers faces a critical moment in his Liverpool career with a tough derby match against in form Everton. Norwich v Leicester is another interesting tie.
-
Hi, It's the special players who can keep their drive and ambition no matter how much money they make. I would have been dead in my 20's if I'd got the money these guys are earning(making) now.

Hi, Man Utd top the table after Man City are beaten in London. Arsenal have a very good away win at an in form Leicester as Chelsea come from 2 down to gain a point at Newcastle. Man City remain hot favs with the bookies with Arsenal second favs and Man Utd third favs at 9/2.

Hi, Great spirit shown by Wales. I think England showed a defensive mindset by picking Farrell and Burgess.

Hi, I have a friend who got very sick in India and lost a lot of weight. He never could put an ounce on after no matter what he ate. Still with us, so it can't have been too serious for his long term health.

Hi, I've never had any problems with the food in LOS.I'd say the freshly cooked chicken skewers are as safe as you can get. I eat lots of Indian and Thai food when I'm in Farangland so I'd say my body is used to the food. Maybe some just eat the food when in LOS and they are not used to it ???

Hi, I know some Arsenal fans who go to the away games but rarely show up at home games. They think they are the real fans whatever you think of them.
-
Hi, If the Japs can play like they did against the Boks then Scotland have no chance. As you say it's a quick turnaround and unfair on the Japanese. Hard for them to raise their game in two games so close together. I thought the AB's look pretty good agaiinst a solid Argie team.

Hi, The young guy, Martial, does the business for United again. Norwich get a good point away to Liverpool. Lloris makes a great save to deny Palace. The PL seems a more competitive place after the weekend.
-
Hi, I dont know Newcastle but it would seem to have a lot going for it as a football club. One team and massive support. Why dont they do better ?
-
Hi, West Ham are the team of the weekend with another great away win at City. Leicester City remain unbeaten and are playing with a great team ethic. Costa gets away with it against Arsenal. Mike Dean is a lousy ref so no surprise there. I was surprised that Gabriel responded to Costa as one would think he would have expected such behaviour ? Still, Gabriel seems a guy able to take care of himself so I'll not criticize him for this, hopefully, one off mistake.

Hi, Great game. I like to watch the teams I dont usually see. Japanese were very creative in attack and went for victory rather than a draw at the end. USA v Samoa and Uruguay play Wales. Uruguay seems a very interesting country. Have to make it there at some stage.
-
Hi, We agree on something at last. LVG seems like one of those Boers from SA. He sounds like one as well. No wonder he can't get South American players to play for him.
-
Hi, England need a big step up on that form to win the WC. Ref seemed very partial towards England and the TMO took too long. I can't see beyond the All Blacks this time even though the Springboks were, IMO, robbed in the last WC. France are dark horses and though they have a had a bad few years they usually up their game at the World Cup.

Hi, Premier League teams were exposed in the CL during the week and there will be interesting results this weekend, I feel. Chelsea beat the giants of Tel Aviv and Arsenal were beaten in Croatia. Hard to call that one. Southampton face Man Utd who had problems in Holland, and had the excellent Shaw injured. Bad luck for the lad as he looked like he was going to have a great season. The teams I am tempted by this week are Palace away to Spurs and Norwich at Liverpool. Spurs and Liverpool had Thursday games and are no worldbeaters while Palace and Norwich look fairly decent so far. Maybe I should stick with the Asian Handicap ?

Hi, String the buggers up, I say.

Hi, I think Stoke will be fine even though they were outclassed at Arsenal. Having a good goalkeeper should help them in tigher games. I'd like Bournemouth to stay up but I feel they are doomed. They beat West Ham but the defence gave them the ball to score a few of the goals. Stoke should beat Bounemouth at least. As I said earlier I though Raneiri is a better manager than the media was giving him credit for. He hasn't rocked the boat and the players have continued last seasons end form.
-
Hi, The young players caught my eye this weekend. Martial is under a lot of pressure and had a good debut goal. Pellegrini didn't buy another striker as he likes Iheanacho who won the game for City in the last minutes. I think I will call this lad by his first name, Kelechi, as his surname dosen't roll off the tongue.
-
Hi, A draw would not be the worst result for either team.
-
Hi, Wenger is getting flak for not signing anyone. Paying 50 million for Cavani would not have been a good move IMO. We have Wellbeck to come back and there is no point buying overpriced players unless you are City or Chelsea and money is not that important.
-
Hi, Swansea show good form in a disiplined win over Man Utd. Rooney has not got up to speed for United yet but its early days. Chelsea seem to have internal problems. Matic is playing poorly and players like Ivanovic and Terry have been exposed without his great work in front of the defence. Liverpool lose to West Ham and will have their best player, Coutinho, absent from their critical game against Man Utd at OT. Crystal Palace seem to be a team on the up and their win over Chelsea was no major surprise the way Chelsea have been playing.
-
Hi, Leicester and Swansea have been two of the stars of the opening few weeks of the Premier League. Swansea have a tough encounter with Man Utd this weekend and Leicester have a winnable away game at Bournemouth. My gooners head to the Toon who will be encouraged after a good point at OT. The other game that catches the eye is Spurs v Everton which is a battle between two teams who may make up the best of the rest.
-
Hi, Scousers rob Cockneys. Liverpool are the beneficaries of another dodgy decision by an official. I think Arsenal would have won by 2 or 3 goals if the goal had stood. Two good goals in two tight games disallowed. At this rate Liverpool will win the Premiership.

Hi, LVG insists he didn't want to sign him !
