Dearie me, Vic! You really don't have a grip of this English language thingy. I hope you're not marking your students wrong as well. Bird? Amy Winehouse is a strange bird. Get a grip on yourself, FFS!

3 things FIFA should change for the next World Cup

I think Scotland should be given a bye. Our team may be crap but a couple of weeks in Brazil for the supporters sounds OK. -
Not at all, Vic. Football isn't the only term you haven't got to grips with - we still get a good chuckle when you're boasting about getting blown by some black hooker.

I'm disappointed. I thought you were going to tell us about some new BDSM soapie.

Yes, but as the goalkeeper they should be concentrating on the game. -

As you are fond of saying, time will tell. 4 bn seems a cheap price to pay to become the world's No 1 aircraft producer. Try to look at the big picture - we're perfectly happy sat here listening to the No 2 complaining how unfair it all is. -

And a sensible take on events from the US .... BigD should note the answer to the first question. -

LOL. You mean my flight costs - much appreciated. You didn't mention any problem at the time, nor did you make any mention of having your 'proof' to hand. As far as I'm aware, I haven't "coughed it up" and I've not encountered any problem whatsoever, never mind a major one. I think you're indulging in your fantasies again. What about BKK? -

Very slowly is the answer. Until you realised you were skint. When was that? The last time I was in Pattaya was April of this year. I offered to have a cup of tea with you but you declined. Just as you did in BKK. You're like the Scarlet Pimpernel when it comes to meeting up. -

Well, as of today no government has indicated that it's asking for any money, neither has Airbus indicated that it will be paying any. Quite the opposite in fact. You were planning on doing so, which is what you said. Like most of your plans though, it doesn't seem to have come to very much. What did you say at the time? Oh yes, you couldn't afford to. Jeez, how ungrateful can you get. I offered to fly you and your family down to Songkhla so we could go over your docs. Unsurprisingly, you declined. -

But they haven't stopped anything, have they. They can't enforce anything. Are you saying that you kept Wassanna a secret from your family? I think we've disproved your fantasies in the past. No need to go over old ground. -

There are two chances. Zero and nil. Why would they want to do that? For a European Citizen, you have a very negative attitude. I don't know how you can hold your head up around the streets of Dublin. Your family must be ashamed of you. -

0/10. Promise me you'll try and do better - it's getting boring now. Vought and Global Aeronautica in Charleston, and Spirit in Wichita. As you said, "Once again American ingenuity and manufacturing prowess comes to the fore". Quite. -
The hugely successful Roy Evans was their last English manager. Although Dalglish never won a European trophy with them, his WDL record is second to none. I think Dalglish put himself up for the job, so if he's been overlooked in favour of Hodgson he doesn't really have much choice other than to cut his ties with the club. Just read on the wire that Man City have bought David Silva.

No. I can't get worked up about Chelsea nowadays. When I was a kid they were one of my favourite teams in the days of Cooke, Osgood, Harris, Bonetti, Hudson, Webb and McCreadie but there's not a lot to enthuse about the current mob. I don't know if it's because of Ballack - reminds me too much of that arrogant little shit, Lothar Matthaus. When I lived in Germany we had a "Brit" fanclub and used to arrange buses to as many games as possible irrespective of the team involved - we even managed to watch Hearts in Hamburg and Munich. If there were no Brit teams in action, it was then a case of watching Keegan playing for Hamburg or Woodcock playing for Köln and eventually Paul Lambert playing for Dortmund. As an aside, I see Hodgson has gone to Liverpool. I think it will take a bit longer than the two years they've given him to sort out their problems.

Vic, It would be a small sampling - you and 20-odd others. We've been down this road before you threw your teddy in the corner. The alternative is Vic and his 20-odd mates are right and tens of thousands are wrong. Wasn't your previous argument that they were actually two different people and I was being condescending to suggest otherwise?

Or, more likely, the specs were wrong in the first place.
