Oops! Another "on time and to spec" moment ... Boeing Delays 747-8 Another Six Months to Mid 2011 By Susanna Ray - Sep 30, 2010 10:52 PM GMT+0700 Boeing Co. extended a yearlong delivery delay for its newest 747 jet by six months as engineers redesign some parts and said it will add a fifth plane to the test fleet to speed up the work. The postponement to mid-2011 shouldn’t have a material impact on Boeing’s 2010 earnings, the Chicago-based company said in a statement today. Boeing has taken $2.04 billion in charges amid three prior delays that had pushed back the latest delivery date of the freighter version -- due before the passenger model -- to the end of this year. -
I was referring to the Thai Social Security Act (1990). Generally speaking, if he's on a work permit, he qualifies unless employed by one of the exempted employer categories and even then his employers are required to provide an alternative. I believe he's recently had his hips done on the cheap by flashing his Thai Social Security Card. Thai Social Security Act (1990)

What dates did you use to get that price?

Once again? Anyway, it's Double-Oh, not Double-Nought - you need to pay more attention at the movies. Did you know that Sean Connery played for my local footie team? -
Yes, but Zurich has the advantage that you can just pop round to the local euthenasia clinic.

Apparently subsidies are something that are only paid in Euros. Obama's message to private sector: you have lift-off By Stephen Foley in New York Friday, 1 October 2010 The US has agreed a $1.61bn down-payment on the development of a private-sector space programme, as part of a revamp of Nasa designed to outsource much of the day-to-day business of travel to the stars. After months of wrangling, Congress has approved a $58.4bn three-year budget plan for the US space agency, which will funnel huge subsidies to a host of private companies engaged in a 21st-century space race – to make profits beyond the Earth's atmosphere. -

You can delete the shit and just leave the relevant info you know ... Anyway, it's nice to see that our resident check-in agent recognises a good thing and continues to promote the international services of Cebu Pacific and AirAsia's all-Airbus fleets. -
To be fair, it wasn't Soi 7 who passed round the begging bowl, but his employers. I got the impression that his bills had been covered/guaranteed by his employers and the whip round was, in effect, to make sure they didn't lose out. Nice to see that he has got his social security payments in place now though.

You'll almost certainly need to wire in a complete new circuit.

On their long-haul products LH and TG both have lie-flat seats in biz and CX has flat-beds. What does Aerosvit have? http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/aerosvit.htm
-
A 27" iMac is the way to go.
-
What the fuck are you on about? The guy claimed "the seats are the same as business class seats on the rest of the major airlines". I have said they're not comparable to the major European, Middle Eastern or Asian airlines - statement of fact. It is the OP that is comparing Aerosvit to the major, presumably US, airlines, since two of the three aircraft in their fleet were kitted out by United and TWA in the 1990s. Maybe the OP will clarify which airlines he had in mind when he made the comparison. The OP is misleading at best for some newbie who may book with the airline and expect to get a lie-flat/flat bed business class seat as is found on most of the major European, Asian and Middle-Eastern airlines.

Look on the bright side ... you can now go and stuff your face at Krispy Kreme. "Today, Krispy Kreme Doughnut Corporation announced that it will be opening it’s very first store in Thailand this morning. The store is located in the heart of Bangkok at the Siam Paragon shopping center. The lines at the new Krispy Kreme store were quite long, as the American company announced a special promotion for the store. They will be giving away free donuts to the first 200 customers to enter the new location. The very first customer hit the doughnut jackpot as they gave them a dozen doughnuts per week for the next year. “As we continue the expansion of our brand around the world, we are thrilled that now consumers in Thailand will be able to share in the unique Krispy Kreme doughnut experience,” said Krispy Kreme President, Jeff Welch. 20 more stores will be erected in Thailand over the next 5 years ..." -
That's stretching things a bit. Maybe the same as major US airlines, but certainly not the same as major European, Asian or Middle Eastern Airlines that fly from the USA.

Well done. A nice little order from Cathay. Cathay Pacific Airways has firmed up its previously announced commitment for 30 A350s. The purchase was finalized in Hong Kong Thursday by CX CEO Tony Tyler and Airbus COO-Customers John Leahy. Cathay will use the A350s on routes to Europe as it replaces its A340 fleet and grows its 777-300ER fleet, which is dedicated to longer-range US routes. Tyler said at the signing: “I am delighted that we have now finalized this milestone deal for Cathay Pacific. The purchase of these new generation aircraft is an important step in our plan to grow our fleet to ensure that we stay at the forefront of the industry. The A350 fits perfectly into our operation. Its passenger capacity, flight range and operating economics are just right to become the backbone of our mid-sized long haul wide-bodied fleet." Leahy responded by saying that Airbus was “extremely pleased to have finalized this order with one of the world's most prestigious and well-managed airlines." The Cathay order is considered a warning shot to Boeing to move sooner than later on a 777 upgrade. Airbus now has 558 orders from 34 customers for the A350. -
Why do you say that? Are there more bars in Pattaya, or what? For quantity, quality and variety there is absolutely no comparison - Bangkok beats Pattaya hands down. Again, for cheap pussy, Pattaya probably comes out on top but for overall numbers and quality, Bangkok is streets ahead. If identical bars and cheap pussy are your priorities then there's no doubt that Pattaya would be the preferred destination.

It looks more like a bog-standard 4x8 shop including the bathroom.

Why? They operate from a brand new terminal in Delhi that's been open for less than 10 weeks.

From the end of the month you can do the entire MAN-BKK-MAN trip on A380s with minimum stopovers in DXB when the DXB-BKK-DXB A380 schedule is amended.
