  1. Good show by Korea there in qualifying for the last 16. Keep trying - you'll get something right eventually.
  2. And? The articles are from ages ago.
  3. That's not what you wrote. At least try and maintain some element of consistency.
  4. FFS, do try and keep up. See post 1809.
  5. The Premier League didn't come into existence until 1992. 11 times in the last 18 years, or 61%. Did you realise that the English Premier League has never been won by a team that was managed by an Englishman. And the Football League was founded by a Scotsman. That's like saying Native Indians aren't American. Hardly. The Scots put their King on the English throne, not vice versa. Yes they did. It was voted through the Scottish and English Parliaments. You need to go back to school and sort out your timelines/regions.
  6. Why else do you think there aren't many repair shops around?
  7. They have to adhere to the 8 from 25 rule from next season. Not ideal, but it's a start.
  8. Jones - he plays for Schalke. He wasn't going to get selected again for Germany so decided to change allegiance to the US hoping to get picked for the World Cup. He then got injured and I assume Bradley opted not to pick him as he was effectively an outsider and hadn't been to any team camps. As an aside, it was nice to see Thongchai Jaidee hitting a hole-in-one at the US Open at the weekend.
  9. NZ won as far back as last week, Australia won as far back as ......... the 2006 World Cup, as did Korea. Korea won in 1966 - beat the Italians (but so does everybody). And I can't understand how you didn't recall Iran's great victory in 1998 or Saudi Arabia's two fine wins at the '94 US World Cup.
  10. They weren't able to qualify from that lame group in previous years because they came under a different regional Federation. They only joined the AFC in 2006.
  11. Yes, but you got beat by 9 camel jockeys, a one-legged midget and a hairdresser from Leytonstone which means that you are crap and don't deserve to go any further. Don't worry though - you can always blame the referee. When the eligibility rules (that Algeria and other African countries are taking advantage of) were changed last year, one of the first beneficiaries was the US who got Jermaine Jones at the ripe old age of 27 although he had previously been capped for Germany. The fact that he is currently crippled is a good a dose of schadenfreude. Get over it. The Spanish are saying the same thing about Howard Webb.
  12. He's not been selected to officiate in the games taking place on 22/23 June. He officiated in the Italy - New Zealand game yesterday. It may be that he's not selected to referee any more games, but he hasn't been banned. Not sticking up for the guy - it looks like a bad call on his part but refereeing decisions tend to even themselves out in the long run. Except for that friggin' Soviet linesman in '66! Mind you they erected a statue in his memory and named the national stadium after him, so the guy from Mali may have the last laugh after all.
  13. I use Skype all the time to call UK landlines. It's generally pretty good if you have a decent connection.
  14. Can't you get a big one without all the extra cables, just like a TV?
  15. Don't underestimate the Qataris bid for 2022.
  16. You should use that for your signature.
  17. Even although it's wrong, it's not what's being discussed. It's the number of frames assembled prior to full certification being achieved. The A380 gained certification in Dec 2006 - how many frames were complete at that point?
  18. Japan qualified from the same group as the Aussies.
  19. No, you didn't. You're just a thick cunt.
  20. They probably understood the game more than you.
  21. I know. I wouldn't go as far as that, although I was a season ticket holder at my local footie team. I'm sure you managed to pick up a few snippets about Australia during your time there.
  22. They've been world class for many years as confirmed by their record of qualification for the World Cup.
  23. Who are you talking about? Klose? Trochowski? Podolski? Cacau? As it is, I've probably spent considerably more time living in Germany than you have over the last 40 years. No need to Google. There weren't any. A couple of German born Turks, but German law denied them citizenship until 2000 and they chose not to apply. I always thought you were a Hun. Now you're telling me you're a Pom.
