I stay there all the time, if you go out to 2nd road, and turn left and walk past the apex, and go past soi diana inn (be careful crossing there) there is Kiss Food and Drink, that place is Good, Cheap and fast (sometimes). I usually eat there every day. For a massage, exit the hotel, turn right and walk up the street and go to Soi buakow, then turn left. There is a place called Kims massage, all older ladies for a traditional massage. No funny stuff, just a real massage, for 150bt an hour. It is across the sawasdee hotel, (across the street). The other places as you walk up soi honey inn are combo massage/beerbars (not good for a real massage) Baybreeze tips, 30 to 40 baht a day on the pillow for the maid, she will leave you as many towels as you request. Your room will be more cleaner than normal. rooms near the middle of the hotel are quieter, dont choose a room with the adjoining door, you may get a bad neighbor thats loud or deaf, or smokes. The rooms at the back are quiet. There is a resturant that is for Thais across the street next to the bank, they will charge you double of what a thai pays, look for the rainbow metal awning. Not recomended! Gokies and uncle charlies restaurant is good to eat at. Internet cafe just down the street(towards soi buakow) internet cafe by baybreeze

I bring enough clothes for 2 days, and all my toiletries and nessasary stuff, all in a carry on backpack. Then buy all new clothes there for very cheap (good quality, not junk). Soi Buakow tue/fri market. I buy a suit case there, for all the stuff I bought (suitcases are cheap there). Walk past all the touts at the airport exit, go outside and go to the booth to get a taxi for 1200 baht!

From another board I was surfing: "edited to not offend the bigger guy" In Pattaya beach road they have stalls many on the corner of soi 13 where they have up to xxxxxl and this gives the mega "guy" the chance to purchase clothes that fit. Mikey m. mai loo? t_t

Can I buy insulin syringes in Thailand
ting_tong replied to Sinbad's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I bought heart meds for 1/6 the price as in the USA. Cholesterol statins and BP meds. You can get excellent stuff for treating the common cold, and the coughing thats associated with it, ask for the "green pills" (tussin tablets). Its better and longer lasting than that crappy cough syrup they sell here. -
I went there last year around that time, full on high season, and chinese news years,as a combo. I paid 600 baht a night. All my quotes were for long stays of 1 month, which will get a discount. Also try the intown inn, or even the honey inn, or ice inn. DO NOT go to the Apex. Baybreeze website, also for reservation information.

Can I buy insulin syringes in Thailand

A note from your Dr. and put then with the note and business card with your "medical devices", and you should be fine. Also photocopy the note, if you have to go to a clinic in Thailand. The key is to put them into check in luggage. You can usually buy anything over the counter in thailand, only hard core prescription drugs and sleeping pills are a little hard to get. -
I think the Penthouse hotel should hire some Thais to catch some geckos and cut them loose on every floor, those little guys would be fat and plump in no time!

Inntown inn is right up the soi from baybreeze, the new lift in the baybreeze is A-OK, new and fast enough. Pratumnak road is the boonies IMHO.

Thanks Spike, I was away in the land of smiles for 2 months! For the stray dogs in Pattaya, they understand the tone of voice, but if you stamp your foot and say MAI! loudly, they should take off. I hate it when the those mange ridden dogs take a sniff at your heels! cheers t_t

Naklua would be a good get away for a vacation for your family. As for asking questions about any sorts or bars or that kind of activity, please go to the members section, nobody will answer those kind of questions here, it is against the boards policy! regards t_t

I pull out the vents that make the air go toward the center of the room, and turn them around to face the wall, there are 5 of them. If it gets too cold, I put a towel on a couple of those vents.

I saw that, and PM my friend Upena, this was in September. I would of never got the date I wanted to fly, but the price was dirt cheap from Hawaii. The cheapest month to book is Sept/mid month

I am going in late Feb, or early March. I am going to wait until the prices drop to more reasonable prices. Right now its high season and you will lock onto a high price flight. I am going to wait until Feb to start looking.

I saw 250bt and 300bt just up the soi from my place at the baybreeze (500bt) , its the pornmalee hotel and tassaporn house, theres another one, but I cant remember the name. Both have aircon rooms, or helicopter (celing fans). One of those places has a few regular falangs that hang outside on a table infront the hotel and drink from 7:00 am(or earlier) to very late at night, everyday

This is a post from another topic of dirty hotels I made. #2 for me is the Penthouse and all its roaches. I saw a TG with a towel on, in the hallway screaming in Thai; nuu yai, nuu yai ahhhh!!! (big rat, big rat!). It came up out of the toilet when she was going to take a shower.

apex is at the apex of all dumps, it stinks (literally) The buffet is OK though! #2 for me is the Penthouse and all its roaches. I saw a TG with a towel on, in the hallway screaming in Thai; nuu yai, nuu yai ahhhh!!! (big rat, big rat!). It came up out of the toilet when she was going to take a shower.
