I dont know if carrefour has one, but its a big store! I have seen several small stores around, but never go in. If you pass through Bangkok, you need to go to Panthip plaza, its 5 stories of computer stuff and electrical stuff. I was impressed with that place!

Thailand electricity is 220 volt, the plug looks like the ones we use in the USA, but the voltage is 2x the power. Try and do a google search for electrical power adapters foreign countrys. There are computer stores in Pattaya.

You may be wiping out your cookies, that are needed to login automatically? I usually wipe out my cache and files, but save the pattayapages, the old freelancerbar, pattayapics, and some other cookies.

The server speed is pretty good now, if it slows down just right click for a menu on the link you want to see and choose open in a new window. That makes it easier to surf back and forth.

There is no need to panic, you can get a taxi right out of the exit to the terminal, there are many taxi limosine services that provide service for 1500bt T_T

At least with the Penthouse, there is no extra charge for the little brown guests! I had hundreds of roaches in my room, I could of sold them to the deep fried bug cart guy! T_T

(scaremonger) You need to do some research on any hotel you plan on staying at, some places have bad reputations for employees cloning and using your credit card for fraud. The Penthouse hotel charged me 5% to use my Visa card. It can be a common practise in LOS T_T

That really sucks! Dont leave her a tip I stayed at the baybreeze hotel on soi 10, and it was cheap, 600bt, had an in room safe, and the maid was a very nice lady. Maybe try that place next time? M_H

I went there for 2 days, you can read my trip report about it, for me any more than 2 days probally would of drove me nuts, there is very good sightseeing at the Wats on the top of the hill, and the emerald buddah. Skip the Hmong village, its a plastic commercial tourist trap. M_H stayed at the montri, clean and nice, cheap too.

I used the net4U on 2nd road, facing soi pattayaland 2 (penthouse, mistys a gogo) and across from the thai military bank. ADSL was ok for me. They have decent plans for 300bt /300 minutes if I remember? M_H just down the street, world massage is good for a thai massage, see Kun #18 and the boat bakery for a good cheap meal.
