January 9, 2005: A TripAdvisor Member, Blackpool UK We left the Penthouse Hotel after only three days of our ten day holiday in Pattaya and stayed elsewhere We woke up on the second morning to find two mice in the room, our friends found one asleep in their shoe ! We cut our feet on broken glass in the pool. When we went to reception and commented the manager or owners (English I think) just laughed and said we were not "seasoned travellers" and what else should we expect. SOMETHING BETTER !!!!! Staff zero points.... atmosphere of the place ... just zero

I believe the 10th floor is more expensive, due to size? I would always hear high heels or shoes stepping on tiled floors from the 9th floor.

I think it was the premier football league restaurant, that place will over feed you with good stuff. If you go there, bring someone else to share a plate. NO joke!

the buffet is good there (bouncer is right though!) go around the corner, baybreeze, intown inn, and honey inn look in the hotels section on the top of the page, its the best on the web

try to get a copy watch with japanese guts, the better movements cheaply made are from japan go to the south pattaya market, opposite the Wat Chaimongkol and a little further up the street. way in the back is mr. wong and the watch lady.

When you get threatened, and coerced to hand over money for a service that was not rendered, you may feel as strongly about this as I have. Try flying 18 hours and having no ride, then get to your hotel and having a screaming cunt ask for money? As for the baybreeze, some people like it, some dont, I stayed there for 2 months at 1 shot one year. YMMV

sounds like a Khong Fa experience! You should of bribed the front desk people to say you checked out and went to the roach infested penthouse hotel

this is what can happen if you dont have a full face helmet I prefer to ride the baht bus, although I will ride a motobike taxi on 3% of my travels on vacation. Howard on pattaya citynews says motobike taxis rarely get into crashes, as its their work. Although it could happen, it is rare for the taxi drivers.

Best to buy tickets only from your travel agent and find a hotel here: pattaya pages hotel guide Most of us do it that way, much cheaper.
