my friend recently bookrd there, Markland over booked and ignored his reservation. He looked at the big boat hotel next door, it was pricey and full of chinese (rude ones) So he booked at Lababoona, and said it was reasonable, clean, and had a very good view or the sea and sunsets.....I think it was 1200 for him?

always consider the worst case sceniario: passport gets stolen or lost / cant cast TCs ATM card gets eaten or cloned / cant pull cash cash gets stolen anything can happen, hopefully not all at once. Also do a websearch for credit card cloning, its common in Thailand.....especially in hotels
-
Same for Alex the taxi service As I remember the bathroom is so small, you can sit on the throne, and touch the wall infront of you. Also request a new wrapped bar of soap, or you get a used bar

TC, cash, debit card.....take all 3 CC for back up

there is always the tossaporn guest house or star hotel on soi honey for 200 baht. tossaporn guest house just refurbished the rooms with used beds.

typo, 1 baht 1 minute, and the services for the cafe are still priced high, I just walked by there as I was going to the bank. OK, skytop is a 5 star hotel by Khao San Road ratings, only because there are no rats running through the rooms. I did not see roaches so its a Khao San Road 5 star ranking. I did pass by another hotel for 350 bt a night on the backroads, its Classic Inn.....I did not look at the rooms, but it does have AC, hot water, cable, telephone. its walking distance to the best thai foods. Opposite Little Duck hotel, just off central road. Classic Inn 038 426557 Just for laughs, chochalan hotels bathrooms are 3 times bigger and 3 times cleaner

Need help ASAP...non guest friendly...

chochalan apts, central road/ opposite LengKee restaurant -
I have to repeat, the skytop is a filthy, dirty shithole. The owner can not polish a turd. 60 baht a minute for internet service downstairs is way high, as almost all places on soi buhkao is 30 baht. The place is no deal, as it has small rooms, and a tiny dirty 3x5 foot bathroom with an open wall.....if you farted while taking a dump, your guests can hear it.....same for them, if they fart, you can hear and smell it. I prefer to not slum
-
The only good thing going for the skytop, is that the FREE security next door happens to be the tourist police station. Other than that it is a dirty shit hole. There are many better places on soi buhkao for 1/2 the cost. Which would add up to 233 baht a day. And those places are cleaner, better, and NEWER.

As far as I could see, my paypal transaction was realtime, and at the daily exchange rate. Keep track of the transactions and check right after you pull the cash, I had a "double transaction from SCIB chonburi" which cost me some phone calls to my bank at 3:00am thailand time.....and at my expense of 400 baht. I thought my card was cloned. Turns out the bank made a mistake, and it was settled. Any paypal debit is $1.00 USD charge.

Fake Wales shirts seized from house Aug 4 2005 Rebeccameredith,South Wales Echo A man employed a Thai tailor to copy Welsh rugby shirts to sell back home in Wales. Sixty replica rugby jerseys were found at the home of 57-year-old John Patrick O'Leary, along with several pairs of counterfeit Diesel jeans. Trading standards officers became suspicious after they discovered items were being sent to three addresses for O'Leary. They later found out that O'Leary had taken a genuine rugby shirt to Thailand and asked a tailor to make copies, paying £26 for each jersey. But he claimed he paid customs tax and duty and so believed his actions were legal. O'Leary, of Caerleon Grove, Castle Park, Merthyr Tydfil, who had holidayed in Thailand six times in two years and had claimed the goods were gifts, was estimated to have spent just over £8,000. Paperwork was found at his home relating to Thailand but his potential profit could not be calculated. He pleaded guilty to two offences of possessing goods bearing a sign which could be mistaken for a trademark and two offences of offering to supply goods to which a false trademark description had been applied. In his defence Jeremy Jenkins told Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court: 'We are dealing with a man who is extremely industrious and hardworking. 'He did pay appropriate levels of tax in importing these goods from the Far East into the country but he now realises it's the false description applied during that which causes the offence to be committed. 'It has been a saluatory lesson to him'. He was sentenced to an eight month jail sentence suspended for two years and ordered to pay £992 costs. A spokesman for trading standards said: 'This case sends a clear message to those involved in the illicit trade of counterfeit goods that they could face a custodial sentence for their actions. 'The Trading Standards Service is committed to the council's vision of a thriving economy in Merthyr Tydfil and we will continue to clampdown on those individuals who are presenting unfair competition to genuine retailers.' http://icwales.icnetwork.co.uk/0100news from thaivisa.com

Arggghhhh, ughhhh, argggh, huh a huh. chok dee krup
-
Its a homemade homepage using a free server, and using a web based free script to html. The language section needs to say "krup" is spoken by males, "kha" is spoken by females. Retire to pattaya.com is misleading Its an all right attempt by a beginner for a webpage. Lets see what "webby" Dan has to say? ting xttp://trellixff1.business.earthlink.net:80/servlet/SiteBuilderServlet?fUrl=/trellix/sitebuilder/f_error.html&sUrl=/trellix/sitebuilder/f_edit_page.html&Command= OpenSite&FileName=8962186520837496655/site.xml

Look me up when you are in town, I'll tell you what they are saying! as long as they are not speaking Lao rosetta stone was not that good, I was given a copy of pimsleur, but they speak a little fast.
-
There are many programs on CDs that are good, but they have speakers that talk sort of fast. The best is to buy a dictionary and learn many key words. A good starter book is Spend some time with a good english/thai speaker, and ask questions, write everything down. Any Thai that speaks decent english will be happy that you are taking the time to learn their language. Remember what they say when some thais speak in funny sentences, like "your sister me" = my sister, then apply it to the thai translation of "my sister". PM me for info on the dictionary or info. I speak Thai with a cockney accent gov'na probely = probally? dialect = accent? you are slaughtering the Queens language and grammar rules! slip that up your funk & wagnalls matey!
