Checked out two of the rooms some friends we met in Pattaya about 3 weeks ago and they were doing good. The rooms were outstanding and this is where we will be staying on our next trip. The other room had it in the bathroom. Good prices also. If you want to hold a room for your trip, you need to email them way in advance.

Pete I just returned from LOS and missed Gary Birthday party by a few hours as we had to head to BKK. The Alamo is a good place to hang out during the day and early evening while awaiting friends for the nights fun. Gee, Gary is older than I am.

I just returned from Pattaya and they were in town in very few numbers. You can not even notice them unless you know what you are looking for. Being retired Navy, I can pick them out. So enjoy your trip and don't worry, there are enough TG's to keep you happy.

I agree with Triplegee. This site is all about LOS. Boardies sharing their trip reports, newbies looking for help, and anything else that is about the place we all love. If Pete decides to open the OT area again, then thats fine with me as I voted to keep it open. Until then, I guess some of us here are not happy with the way the forum is going over the last few weeks. I agree with Baron von TT I am going to Pattaya to be relaxed and have fun, not to impress anyone there. The uniform of the day in Subic/Pattaya is the same. Nice T-shirt and shorts to feel comfortable and relaxed. If I was going to the Go GO bars, then I would consider wearing pants. But then again, why? It is too hot in April.

I have a round trip flight for April from the West coast for $734.00 on United. Not sure why it would be so much from where you are at.

I will be coming in with Rocko76 on the 16th of April for a week. We both are having problems with getting in contact with the Sun Shine Hotel on Soi 8. He has stayed there over the last few years. They are just not being helpful at this point. We are working with the Sun Beam Hotel as of now with gettting some general information. With no site for this hotel you are both talking about, is there a site we can go to to check out this hotel. The bottom line is, I beleieve that during this period of time we are there, it is the low season and it seems that hotels are hard to communicat
