well we are still stuck with the old 747 on the London-bkk route. i hear it is next year when the 1st of the A380 airbuses will be delivered.

if you can handle a long haul with no in flight entertainment then fair enough, i have booked Thai for January London-bkk, not by choice but because they are the cheapest direct..i far prefer Eva..BTW late next year they are due to start using the A380 on this route, then maybe they will be my 1st choice. and shouldn`t this be in airline discussions?

wasted a very valuable 2 hours on my last day watching a load of total garbage mascarading as a Thai movie, i promised the girl we would take in a TM because normally we only see farang films, big mistake the title translated meant friday killer..AVOID at all costs..i have now set down a golden rule that we will never go to see a TM again, this must be the 4th or 5th TM we have seen in the last 3 years and i have yet to see a good one.

where have the cheap direct flights gone for Jan?, at this time in previous years it has been easy to pick up something in the 5 or 6 hundred range, just done a search and even EVA are asking 700+ the cheapest i can see are Thai at £683

on that same soi next to the apex there is a guest house called the doblar house, its about 20 yards down on the left, good clean rooms at the price you are asking, guaranteed to have vacancies at this time of the year, the only down side is no in room safe, but there are safe boxes on the ground level. and the girl thats runs it is always there so no chance of losing your belongings.
