You're right. Its a sad sight to see but those beggers make more money than average working Thais 2+ folds over. The whole thing is a big scam. The "boss" of those beggers make the most money. He plants those beggers throughout Pattaya at strategic tourist sites where tourists are the target. They drop them off in the morning and pick them up in the evening/night and they must fill the quota or else. Its been going on since I could remember. Viagra is made by company called Pfizer of USA. All others are fake copies and usually made in India where average Indians only make $1 per day. Quality control on those drugs are not to industrialized standards and users are taking chances when they purchase fake drugs. This is not limited to Viagra but all drugs in general. Its your life.

Nakaleen, Don't do it. If you come to Thailand and indulge in nightnife activities, you will be corrupted for rest of you life. It happened to me and it WILL hapen to YOU. Eric, I noticed many farangs pay dowry because it make themselves feel good and not what she's worth. Issan girl working in a hotel is worth about 0-100,000 if she's attractive. But many overpay because most farangs are very unattractive (except board members here , of course ) and feels they need to "pay to get her". I don't know what she's worth and that is "up to you" and only you can answer that question. Many farangs got burned with the dowry and got bitter and if you have experience in Thailand you would know why. There are many, many, many sad stories.

Has anyone ever stayed at LK Mansion and any comments. For some reason, they don't have the picture of the building like other LK property. And where is it in Soi Buakhao? The map is too vague.

I stayed at Welcome Plaza hotel not too long ago and I got bitten by gang of bed bugs. Very nasty insects. I still have bite marks on my body. Check out bed bugs http://www.hsph.harvard.edu/bedbugs . This hotel has big problems with bed bugs. You been warned.

He doesn't stop by his bar that much. He let cashiers run the place and I suspect they are stealing from him as well but he doesn't care. His lease is up around Nov. and he'll be getting out of the bar business. He usually walks around the beach.

My friend stays at 40th floor at Sky Beach Condo and he loves it. He's paying 25K per month for 1 bedroom plus utilities for seaview. But one thing he's very scared about is fire in the building. If it happens, he's "f_cked" as he put it. He can't take those stairs down since he'll have a heart attack.

Location is shaky. Dark at night with limited lights. Nothing around the hotel.

I don't know if I should congratulate you for discovering Thailand or feel sorry for you. I found Thailand 12 years ago and it changed my life forever. I cannot have "normal" relationship back home ever since. Nor do I want to settle down and get married back home. I've been going to Thailand ever since and all I want to do is make enough money and go back "home" to Pattaya and enjoy something I can't have back home.
