Here is my last contribution on this topic, I'm sure the Poms out there will enjoy this fine bottle!

OK congrats to the Poms, just to show that us Aussies are a sporting like bunch. Love those stats Landy2A!

Tounge in cheek Top Cat, me a new age sensitive type, no flamin way cobber!!! Hey we don't want to win it, if we manage a draw at least the ashes stay in our hands again and the Poms have to wait till next time to try and get it back! Sandman what's cricket, come on cobb don't jump ship already mate> Stone the flaming crows, and as old Joe used to say She'll be right!

Hey Top Cat, Harsh words mate, don't worry it isn't over yet. This is part of a strategic plan to make the Poms think they have the upper hand but the Aussies will play their trump card in the last test and settle it once for all.
  5. Try the Baybreeze, good cheap hotel in central location on Soi 11. Cheers, Kev
  6. Well give them the last three digits and you may as well give them a blank cheque or your credit card!!!!
  7. Are you sure it was pork!!!!

Ahh BigMike some refreshing intelligent words on the subject matter. I can't add another thing as I am remaining silent till the ashes are once again in the Aussies hands. Cheers, Kev
  9. Yep have to agree go out and learn a bit about the game, take a couple of lessons before going onto the real course. Maybe spend hald an hour on the driving range when you first start to learn. Nothing more frustrating IMHO than playing a game a golf with some newbie in front who holds every one up, doesn't repair divots etc... Cheers, Kev

He who laughs last laughs loudest!!!!! Game is not over till the fat lady sings!!!! Any of these sayings ring a bell with the Poms supporters counting their chickens already. I will be silent until the ashes are once again in the Aussies hands. Cheers, Kev
  11. Hey Turbo, Bay Breeze on Soi Honey Inn always has hot water when I've stayed there, and yes they even have shelves and a drawer or two. Good hotel for the price. Well worth checking out. Kev
  12. As far as I know they all have tiled floors - in the bathroom.
  13. I stayed at the BayBreeze during Mar and Apr just gone, I find it an excellent budget hotel. As mentioned before it ain't the grand palace but it is excellent value for money if you ask me. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean, OK the view is pretty shit but what do you go to Pattaya for to sit in your room and look out the window all day?? As Chico mentioned there were a couple of days when the water went off but that is no major drama in my book. I find the staff to be friendly and helpful. Cheers, Kev
  14. Shit a bigger guy, only XXL. I'm a measly XXXL and I have the same prob as you trying to find clothes apart from tailors.
  15. Leadbelly you are right about the new pool joint being down Soi Dianna, haven't been there but may check it out next trip. I belive they run a weekly knock out comp, but would pay to check out the rules before playing. Have played many a times in Pattaya at different bars where the rules seem to change each day. No drama, I enjoy pool for the fun of it, I used to play comp pool but got sick of it as there was no fun involved any more and IMO it was taken too seriously. Cheers, Kev
  16. I would book a taxi through your hotel in Pattaya if you can and go straight to Pattaya from the airport, or take your chances and get a taxi straight to Pattaya from the airport, usually plenty available. Why stay in Bangkok, no more than what Pattaya has to offer, but Pattaya is about 1/2 the price.
  17. Did I mention anyone in particular?
  18. Ho Hum another wasted space
  19. Like that link will be handy!!!
  20. Yeah gotta agree Bay Breeze is my choice. Lex is in nice location but for the quality and price Bay Breeze is better. Kev
  21. RB The Baybreeze had a new lift when I was there in September. Kev
  22. Livermore, The room I stayed the ac was mounted fairly high on the wall, so high in fact my TG had to get a chair to turn it up or down, which suited me. I just walked pass and adjust it whenever I wanted without her knowing until she worked out I kept changing it. Very amusing actually. Kev
  23. I liked the baybreeze as well, good location and also nice pool (bit smallish). 500 bahts.
  24. OK thanks PSBG, spelling was never one of my good points, I'm more of a figures person. Cheers, Kev
