Hot Tuna 3 (opposite Tony's) 8 year anniversary. Tomorrow I have a Loy Krathong party on and Lam and I are going to see Sek Loso early tomorrow evening with a plan to try and get him down after his gig.

Looking at the roman theme the name is a strange choice.

Saw these play at Rolling Stone bar last night and then were great, Don't forget to check them out at the blues factory tomorrow night from about 1045pm after the blues factory rock band at 10pm. Lam Morrison will follow Gooberguns set. :)

Just to let everyone know that for Halloween we will be having a small party with 2 bands (instead of the normal sundays 1 band) and a free buffet. First band is of course The Blues Machine with the BB King award winning "Snowman" on guitar and Mary on vocals, 2nd band is "The Guitar King of Thailand! Lam Morrison along with his rock band and "No1 (Nueng) who is our second guitarist. Hope to see you there, live music from 930pm. :)

They've jammed in mine a couple of times but never really got into their stride, good band though. :)

A couple of weeks back a student band from Rayong called "The 4 Monkey's" came into the bar after asking Lam Morrison if they could play 3 or 4 songs, I didn't know about this and was a bit concerned but as it turned out they were superb! As good or better than a lot of rock bands that you get in the area and they are only 16-17 years old. Anyway my Manager has been in touch with them and we will be letting them take the stage tonight to perform again, they will be on shortly after 1am. If there are any rock fans passing by pop in as they really are worth seeing. cheers :)

By all accounts the restaurant set the prices in the book, makes sense too me, the restaurant still gets its 180bht and the rest covers WOW's expenses.

Maybe the restaurant has cut its prices and not told WOW?

Thanks for the suggestions everybody. I for one don't want to change too much just wondering what songs people wanted that the band didn't play.

That's part of the things that I brought up in a recent meeting, I already tell the DJ to read the crowd and look at them to see what kind of era they would be from, same for the band. Lam does a few 60's as do the other band although with blues of course its not a well known, I'll definitely bring it up.

As many know I am the owner of The Blues Factory and I was wondering whether I could call on Boardmembers to give me feedback. Obviously our main style and image for the bar is blues with a bit of rock also but I feel that we should still diverse a little bit from time to time, we already play some RnB and a little bit of pop (although we wouldn't really cover Hip Hop and the like) but what would the expats and visitors to Pattaya like to hear (if of course you come into the bar). Taking requests is a good way to do this but of course the bands can't always guarantee that they'd know the son
