The Blues Factory is proud to announce that the Bastards from Bangkok will be performing in the bar on Friday 22nd January along with The Blues Machine and of course Lam and The Rock Machine. The Bastards are a glam, punk, rock group made up from expat Farangs and Thai's and are very well known in the clubs in BKK as well as having a regular gig at The Rock Pub in Bangkok. They haven't played Pattaya for over 4 years as they split but they are back with avengence. Doors open at 9pm with all drinks (except remy, breezers or cocktails) at 100bht except draught beer which is 50bht until 1000 p

Just to say Merry Xmas and Happy New Year to all boardmembers from myself, the wife and all at The Blues Factory. :)

The Blues Factory will be having its Xmas eve party this Thursday night (24th of course) and there will be music by Pattaya's best live bands who are- The Blues Machine featuring Mary and of course the BB King award winning blues guitarist Ken “Snowman” Minahan then after midnight as always “The Rock Machine” will take to the stage featuring Pattaya's newest Rock Guitar sensation "Nueng" and of course "The Guitar King" of Thailand Lam Morrison. We will also have guests popping in to jam on the stage with the bands. There will be a buffet laid on also so please Come early to ensure a seat!

The Blues Factory is having a Rock Special from 10pm this Saturday night. The Blues Machine are playing a benefit gig at Central Plaza Beach Road so Lam Morrison "The Guitar King" of Thailand will be taking the stage from 10.00pm with The Rock Machine who include some of Pattaya's best rock musicians. Are you sure they are sub contracted out? I know where to get great copies for under 2k but a top copy with real swiss movement, stainless steel strap etc and sapphire crystal glass will cost more.

Not necessarily, if good copies 2k is a good price. You can get copies that are almost 10k, depends on the quality. :- Regarding Residence Garden this topic show was a good place it is with honest staff, my Dad and Cousin are booked in there for 3 weeks from tuesday. :)

Had a meeting with a guy yesterday regarding the new "Thai Rewards" discount card which is available very soon. I was a bit dubious at first as I've ready been fucked around by the Bangkok Privilege card but after sitting down with this Guy yesterday I reckon this one will be a good thing, thay are also backed by the TAT and they already have ads running on TV and Radio. So far they have 14 Golf Courses on board (they guarantee better discounts than the Pattaya Sports club) and they also have restaurants like The Sportsman, Manhattans & Captains Corner amongst others, bar wise they are q

A similar post on Thai Visa says that they only serve that dish but the owner is hoping to extend his menu, sounds good.

No mate my answer was based on michaeldays post. The turkish place is a la turca and its now at the soi on the side of Carrefour or the menu can be seen on the door2door website here- link.

My thoughts also, there is a turkish restaurant in Patts that have a wider menu and the food is similar. have you only just figured that out?

I've just had it confirmed that "The Olarn Project" who are a famous Thai band will be coming tonight to celebrate with Lam and play a few numbers. :)

Apparently a certain bass player board member has a birthday on this night also so he will be popping for a beer or 2 also.

Tickets are available from the cashier in the Blues Factory priced at 300bht each, remember its for charity. :)

This month Lam is celebrating his birthday and we'll be holding a bit of a party for him in the Blues Factory. There will be music from 10pm by The Rock Machine with Tommy on vocals and of course Lam himself will be playing and there will also be a buffet. Hopefully will be also have a few guest acts popping in also and even maybe a few famous faces in the Thai music scene. See you there.

Tuesdays as some may know are our regular jam nights in the Blues Factory but starting tomorrow I’ve changed the format slightly. Jam night is now on Sundays and its with Snowman and The Blues Machine but now after midnight Lam Morrison will be joining the blues band and also is keen to have jammers come up and jam with him and the band. He hasn't played with the blues band for a few years so it should be a good thing. Watch this space as I will also be doing a promotion for customers that come into jam, I will of course update the info when its been planned fully. Hopefully see you Sunday.
